There were no blog post on the last day of the year on 2011. Neither were there any on the arrival of Chinese New Year. The only reason being that I have nothing much to write about. (>__<)

Both good and bad things happened back in 2011. I lost some contact with some friends, but gained more friends at the same time. I had a hell lot of crazy time with the insane gang and also being angry at certain people or issues.

As much as that may be, I think that they are nothing worthy of special mentioning. They became pure entertainment for me during the times I was bored.

You can say I'm pure evil. And I won't deny.

Well, on the overall, 2011 was a good year for me.

With Chinese New Year, I grew older. And I sincerely hope that I will end up as a better person and as a better friend.

The much awaited short getaway - Penang

Finally!!! I finally have the time to head overseas to Penang. [hearts]

Man, I haven't been here in like forever. Ok, maybe not that serious. I just haven't been here in 8 months. Not that long ago but I really miss this place. Although I'm still hogging the laptop while being here and can't go out on my own. At least it's better than nua-ing at home. Somehow, I guess.

And then, drama pastry queen, aka Eclair, dramatize my short getaway to Penang on FB and Skype. Very LOL!! But then again, with her and the rest of the gang, nothing seems more fun than dramatizing stuffs and going crazy. XDD

Managed to connect to the wireless over at my grandma place. Though it's a little weird. Don't think I can game a lot. Even FB applications are taking some time to load properly.

Shall try gaming already. And that crazy bunch seems to want to skype-call me while kara-ing later. Zzzz...

Super Sweet Dreams

Like finally, my dreams of two or more people ain't bloody anymore. No more killing of one another to be exact. Lol~~ It got very sweet. Or at least I think it is sweet. (>___<)

Firstly dreaming of my sis and darling killing one another the night before STGCC, where they were supposed to cos as enemies. Then a second time of them killing each other before TGX and us three weren't even supposed to be cosing together. Very LOL situation.

Then, I dreamt that I was chased after by a black guy because he wanted to kill me. And I got shot by a pistol at the juncture between shoulder and neck. It felt so real that I thought a bug landed on me and I woke up. Haha~ Funny how I can think that a bug was there even in the dream.

Third dream. Or more like, two dreams occurring at the same time. Dreamt of Jon and I in a tuition centre and it seems like that we're about to head out for an excursion or something. Very unlikely to happen in real life because we are from different school years de. The other one was that I went out with Sochii and a primary school friend of mine to an event. It was outdoors. However, I totally had no idea what kind of an event that is. Hmm.. These two dreams are very weird.

Last dream which happened only last night. I dreamt that I was one of the bodyguards hired for a diva coming to SG. They got a fake, with lots of air crew members to form a human wall, to distract the hoards of journalists and fans at level 1 of the airport and carpark. At the same time, I escorted her and her assistant from some other level down to level 4, where two cars were waiting and there was another secret exit. Very strange setting huh?

Then I got into one of the cars and guess who was in the driver seat as one of my partner for this mission? It was Shou from Alice Nine!! [hearts] Then we reach this place where we were escorting the diva and her assistant. Instant thought then was Bugis but it look so damn different la!

Anyway, as we were walking side by side, he started singing a japanese song. [DUH!] Somehow, it ended up with his hand around my shoulders and I kind of hug him back. All these while walking. I got shy for the first time ever in my life around a guy. Hahaha!! Removed my hand and put it back around him again. He then hugged me tighter. [melts]

Then... ... ... ... I woke up... ... ...

It was still super sweet though. However, I think Shou's fans will try and kill me for this little dream fantasy?? HAHA!! However, I will still stay true and loyal to my hubby Tora. <3

Hair cut!

WOOTS! I cut my hair again!! XD

This is like, the 4th time this year already. XD Think I got addicted to short hair for the time being since I had long hair for 2 years prior to cutting it. Also, no more lion head temporarily. Yay!! Though I'll get complaints on cutting my hair short again. And so much shorter than the previous cuts. But heck it. It's my hair~~~ XP

Shall try camwhoring and then perhaps, post up some pics of my new hair.

Anyway, September is almost over! Assignments begone! XD Lol~~

But yeah, was pretty busy with those assignments that kept me up almost all night. Does not like those nights that I have to stay up till 2am and wake up at 7am or earlier just to chiong assignments. It's bad on my health, my skin and my eyebags!! Damn~~

Well, at least those chionging days made me lose some weight. Can see a bit from my face since it got just a little sharper. However, holidays are coming. Sure gets fatten, especially since I'm going back to Penang soon. I see my fats coming back. NO~~~~

Oh ya oh ya... I had a Nurarihyon no Mago photoshoot last week. I had so much fun despite the hot weather. Most of the clan members were shagged about halfway through the shoot. No more yukata-typed costumes for the time being. At least not in such a hot weather!!

Once I get some photos from my dear Rikuo-sama or other photogs, I shall select and post some up. Be sure to check it out in my dA or CURE. XD [ish thick skinned]

Lacking a better title. =/

So it seems like my last update was in July, just before Streetfest. Was I really that busy in August to not blog?? Hmm... I can't really remember. Hahah~

Did a casual Macross Frontier photo shoot as Ranka Lee with Eclair as Sheryl Nome. Although there were some hiccups here and there, it was still a fun day out at Sentosa!! Loving my crazy peeps to the max. XD Oh, and there are more crazy stuffs being planned with that crazy gang. So do keep a lookout! Er... It'll be posted somewhere, with the highest chance of being on Facebook.

And and and, I think I finally broke a barrier after cosing Kagamine Rin from Infallible Sky. (>__<) My costume for STGCC was so so so much more revealing. OMG~~ Now that I think back, how did I manage to walk around as if I was totally covered? [hides in embarrassment] But Eclair's Miku was more revealing than mine. Hahaha!! Anyone to attack first, it'll be her. XD

Jumping a bit, September has arrived! It's the assignments month for me. Have to submit 1 or 2 assignments every week till the end of Sept. Then a 3 weeks or so break before semester exams at the end of October. Which means besides studying, I could probably clear some backlog of photo shoots. Maybe can do something conceptual or fashion with Kaeri to help in his portfolio. [ish thick-skinned] XD

Ah~~ Time to chiong for stats test on Saturday. Going down for TGX also. Hope I won't be too cui. (>__<)

This is a week of chionging for quite a number of cosplayers. At least those that procrastinates and only start on their Streetfest cosplays this week. (^__^)

I'm in no better condition than them actually. Bought cloth and other materials on Monday with my darling Eclair. We went from Chinatown to PS to Chinatown again. Lol~ Just to compare prices and look for certain items.

So, she took the cloth home to sew. Which I think by last night, she was too sian-ed and tired, so she started hot glu-ing some parts on. Paiseh darling, I would try my best to learn sewing!! (>__<)

And, I did not leave everything to her. (>__<) I took home some things to dye and paint and cut. You may say that, "Ah! Those are easy!". To hell with you if you say that. Try cutting styrofoam balls and realised that your penknife is blunt and you have no other materials to cut it with. Took me quite a while to finish those balls.

Used one ball for the glue-and-dye mixture method. Super failure. Reasons could be wrong type of glue, too much water, wrong type of dye etc.

Got white glue and some paints yesterday. Gonna use white glue as base and then paint over. Think I'll need to water down the white glue a bit.

The dyeing of the strings!!! The colours turn out super nice can~~~~ XDD Is happy of my handiwork.

Now, I need to cut out the templates which I had drawn and put them together and also paint the cut styrofoam balls.

Second Week

I'm now into the second week of school. But my schedule for this week is definitely wierd. I have school only on Wednesday and Friday. Which means, I'm sorta free to do a lot of things before the hectic stuffs starts coming in. But I sensed procrastinator at work. (>_<)

ooh... Finally Eclair is online. I can now start on the dyeing stuffs for this saturday. XD

First day of school

So it's my first day of school today. YAY!

I was expecting it to be very different from the styles of teaching that I was used to. But, although things were different, it wasn't so much that I couldn't handle. It's still lectures after all. (^_^) Perhaps when the lab sessions and assignments start to set in, I'll feel the major change.

Anyway, I made some friends. Not going for the orientation camp really makes a difference. It's like I'm entering into an unknown place. I didn't take the initiative to talk this time round. So it's like I'm sitting alone and others will fill up the seats around me, chatting with their OG mates at the same time.

But well, I still made some friends. And one of them will be my group mate if any project work comes up. XD That's really nice of her.

Then the suay-ness starts to set in after I got home from school.

I wanted to print some notes that were uploaded for the next lecture. But it turns out that the printer had some problem printing after I printed some reference pics for the tailor last week. And I had to resort to using another printer.

As I stood up, intending to re-insert the USB cable of the printer to the desktop, [note: my laptop is on the floor because USB cable is too short.] I accidentally stepped on one corner of my laptop and the bottom cover of one part broke! There were some bits that came off. (T_T) Luckily no functions were affected. Or I'll really be suay to the max!!

Ah~~~ Sleepy~~~ At like 5 plus?!?!? Shall go wash my face and then back to gaming.. XD

Gaming, School, Cosplay.

I'm blaming Eclair for this recent addiction and she blames it on the very first person to intro the game, Thelindra!! [throws pillows at elf queen]

Apparently, our dearest elf queen intro-ed the game to Jon, who intro-ed to Eclair, then Eclair to me and voila!! Everyone gets addicted. I managed to psycho my sis, Isa, into playing the game as well. Hahaha!!! Now we're almost training our characters every night. XD

I finally checked my time table this morning. Realised that about 85% of the lessons are in the afternoon and that 90% of that starts at 3.30pm. It's both good and bad actually.

GOOD: I get to go school late and not oversleep. Not like I oversleep in the past. [shrugs]
BAD: I end school late at 6.30pm, reach home at about 8pm and then need to have dinner, bathe, do assignments etc. No time.

Looks like time management have to come into play seriously this time round. No more slacking in assignments. Pure focus.... If possible at all. (>__<)

Means that I might be doing less cosplays from next year onwards. (T__T)

I have on average, a plan for each of the remaining months for 2011. I see money flying away!!! Haha!! But I can't really reject them bcause all these were discussed months back. Wouldn't be good if I back out last minute.

This also means that no more personal outings unless necessary. Won't want Mom to nag and nag at me, thinking I go out a lot and don't focus on school work. Haix. Mom is mom.

Last day of work

Technically, it's my colleague's last day of work. Not mine. XD

She's going to Australia for a year for studies and then graduate with a degree. From what I heard from her, she took extra modules while studying in RP and there's an affliated university in Australia where she can pursue a degree in just one year for the same course. So she registered for it with her friends and she's leaving soon~~~ [sobs]

And that's so damn good can~~~~ She'll graduate like, 2 years earlier than me!! Skipping all the other years in local universities too.... [envies]

Ah... My last day of work will come soon. I'll be ending in July since my school start on 11th July.

YAY!!! LIKE FINALLY!!! XD

And I'm feeling super sleepy all of a sudden. Then Neir has to show me pics of a place that seems haunted and is pretty scary although pretty. (>__<)

Anyway, I'm pretty moodless right now. Maybe it's because my new MSN has very little contacts and most are either out attending today's event or not even online at all. A little bored perhaps.

So I've gone for the MOE interview, which I pretty much think that I screwed up with my honest answers. XP And I received the NTU rejection letter earlier this week. Well, that makes it easier for me. Gonna go for SIM already and the financial stuffs are settled. Student contract signed earlier this morning. Gonna get down to SIM on Monday afternoon to hand in the cheque and a copy of the signed student contract.

Will be starting school real soon~ YAY! Been wanting to go back to school since like forever. XD Now that I'm going back and that econs is gonna be a part of my syllabus, I should start revising a little on my JC econs notes, even if it's H1 notes. It should work as a base/foundation/whatever-you-called-it.

AND AND AND!!! Taobao stuffs have reached my sis's house yesterday! Time to collect the things from her. Looks like I have to do it in batches because there are 3 bags and multiple other stuffs. XD [twirls around]

Been trying to go through my temptation folder earlier to compile a list. But I can't decide!!! Too many things are tempting me to buy them!!

When Words Fail, Music Speaks.

WHEN WORDS FAIL, MUSIC SPEAKS.

Yes, those are the exact words being pasted on the wall in the band room at YJC. And it is very true last night. The concert was a huge success. Well, in a way after certain things have happened. But the performances were pretty awesome!!

I wished that I could have heard the main band last night. But due to it being a full house, we couldn't go in to listen. I heard from my friends who are amongst the audience that they played very well. They deserved better than a bronze at SYF central judging. But well, it's over. And we had no idea how well was their performance at the central judging.

It was fun meeting all those seniors again. Besides Nisa, me, Joseph and Huimin were considered the youngest of the lot already. And two older seniors called us juniors!! Lol~ It was so long since someone called us juniors already. Hahah! We are old~~ XP

Went for half-priced desserts at Cafe Cartel with Joseph, Huimin and Benjamin, whom regretfully, didn't join us for the performance. He was attending the concert as an audience. And the Eastside Brownie Stack was huge~~~~ Me and Huimin kinda regretted ordering one each cause we couldn't finish it!! Only Benjamin finished his apple crumble.

Ah~~~ It was a fun night. And I got high after eating the brownie... In the end, I slept at 2++am. Lol~~~ XD

As the title suggests, I have offers from universities!! Got an sms from MOE for interview and also an offered place in SIM-RMIT course. XD

I'm still waiting though. For NTU and NUS to reply me before I officially decide on which place to take up. I hope MOE reject me so I can go to SIM or other places much more smoothly. (>__<) I don't really like teaching.

Oh. And my darling sister, aka Isa, got me hooked onto KHR doujins. Namely D18 ones. XD Well, that explains why I betrayed Mukuro-sama and fell in love with both TYL Dino and TYL Hibari. They're so freaking cute and pretty together!!! [melts]

Ah.... Sleepy... Almost fell asleep when I lied on the floor just now. Better go sleep or I'll have no energy for the band practice tomorrow evening after work. =)

But what about mine?

Like I said last year, this is just a waiting game. A very long and killer waiting game.

After the registration, all I can do is wait and make plans if I cannot get in again. I cannot answer why the letter hasn't reach me yet. I can't tell you any freaking confirmed thing right now.

So, please. Just please. Stop asking me. I'm getting closer and closer to the edge of the cliff day by day. I might just fall. So please stop. I'm vexed enough already.

No one, not even my family members, understands how I feel. The anxiety, is in fact, killing me inside. I try to be normal everyday, just so no one will worry for me. But none of you understand. You just think I'm playful and don't wanna study anymore. No, it's definitely not that. Do you know how much I yearn to go back and study?

I don't care anymore. Diploma or degree, it doesn't matter! But you guys just don't wanna me go to a polytechnic because it's waste of time and it's POLY. Doesn't sound too nice when I'm supposed to be in Uni huh?

Heck it all!! At least a diploma can get me somewhere at least. Worse come worst, I will apply for poly next year. Or SIM university.

I just hope PSB Academy admissions officers will reply me soon.

IT'S SUMMER TIME!!!

No wonder it's been so hot recently. A cold shower is the best thing that can happen during this period of time. (^__^)

All I can quote from my dearest Rikuo-sama is that I'm a very useless Yuki-onna. I fail at being a Yuki-onna when I'm also melting over here. HAHAH!!

Ah~~~~ I hope snow can fall in SG someday. But that'll be end of the world already. 2012 is coming~~

I bet you guys can tell I'm not thinking straight right now. Posting nonsense at a time when I'm supposed to prepare to sleep. Ah well. Has been randoming for the whole day anyway. XD

Photoshoot and Shopping!

Was so nervous about my shoot for REVOLT today this morning. And it drizzled over at my place, making me more nervous. But it got better when I remembered that I have a shopping trip to look forward to after the shoot. XD

So I met up with Kaeri at Woodlands and we went down to Fort Canning together. We're using the main building so it's nearer to go from Dhoby Ghaut. Lol~ My first time going to Fort Canning from Dhoby Ghaut. Usually I go via Clarke Quay with other peeps who are doing shoots there.

Well, when we reached, it was so freaking hot!!! The sun was blazing~~~ Gosh, I can't believe it was raining hard in the north-west area earlier this morning. Stupid weather changes as and when it likes. Makes it so hard to predict the weather and plan for things.

Anyway, the shoot was kinda fun, with all the stupid jokes that me and Kaeri were cracking. Haha~~ If Rayray was there, I think it will be more even more fun. XD We started the shoot around 1.30+pm and ended at about 4pm. Fast shoot is fast. (^__^)

Met with sis, Isa, at PS after that to go shopping at Bugis. She was the one who tempted me to go shop at Bugis!!! [kicks] Haha!! Her wallet suffered more casualty than mine. And her friend that came afterwards also took a blow to her wallet. HAHAHA!!! But hor.... I'm spending quite a big amount on Taobao. (>__<)

I bought a shirt, a pair of shorts and a pair of white leggings for cosplay. Alamak. I went home and realised that I forgot I ordered 2 shirts with my mom's friend. My orders came in~~ Now I got 3 new t-shirts. Hahah!! Time to throw out the old ones. XD

Lazy bums!!

Went out with Isa and Neir last Saturday. Supposed to be going to SakuraFest, but we lazy bums end up slacking at Starbucks first, then at Yoshinoya with Sasaki. XD Met Sasaki at the Flyer and because all 4 of us are feeling super lazy and disturbed by the hot weather, we decided to slack at Yoshinoya. It's also for them to eat lunch/dinner since Isa did not had any lunch.

The time we spent at the event was nothing compared to the slacking. Seriously. I think we went down for about 30mins or less. Slacked for about 4 to 5 hours in total. Hahaha!!!!

We were super disappointed when we saw the booths. It was PATHETIC!! About 8 booths in total, and they were tiny~~~ When Naito said they were tiny, I was wondering how so until I saw it with my eyes. Nothing much in the booths too.

The stage area was no better. The cosers for the competition had to sit in the direction with the sun directly shining on their faces. I could see all of them melting away.

Ah ah... Lazy bum Me and Isa are gonna go Bugis this coming weekend after my shoot for REVOLT. I hope all goes well and ends well. =)

Clearing!!

So, it's a public holiday today and exactly because I have no work, I was made to clear my stuffs in the study room. Well, I've been procrastinating on it for over a year now. Haha!! So I can't exactly say that I was being forced to. XD

Started clearing stuffs after lunch, at about 1+pm, and just cleaned up everything in the room at about 8++pm. Procrastinator at work!! But yeah, still manage to clear out 6 big plastic bags full of notes/papers/junk etc. Never knew I kept so much stuff in just 2 years of my JC life.

Argh.... My nose is itchy. Always happen when I come into contact with a lot of dust. And I'm feeling sleepy. But it's too early to sleep~~~~

Hmmm.. What should I wear tomorrow??

I am going down to Sakura Fest with Isa and maybe Neir. Neir might be going all blackish because she currently have black nails and Isa should be in a dress since she wanna all of us to dress nice nice and camwhore. She wants me to dress femininely too. But then again, with my short hair, it's kinda impossible to be feminine. Hahah! I'll just look plain weird. XD

Might be going purplish/reddish tomorrow. Isa says I might look punkish. Lol~~ My clothes are like that most of the time. I don't really like those super feminine dresses, at least not on me. =/

My arms are hurting a bit. Might be due to me carrying 6 bags of heavy trash to throw it out just now. Yes, I have to do it alone. The guys in my family aren't gonna help me when both are watching TV/Naruto. (=___=)

SOY 'C'

SOY 'C' is finally over. And it may well be the last SOY event ever. (T_T) Well, for more details, go and read the SOY blog yourself. I'm not gonna repeat everything over here.

SOY - JAP TSUBASA

Anyways, it was a super fun and super crazy event yesterday. Quoted from my sis, Isa, "Things started going haywire for you ever since one of the tips of the trident broke and almost fell off." Er... Somewhere along this line la. Hahah!

Yes, the trident tip broke somehow, but luckily it can be put back by glueing. All thanks to glue from Eclair. And very sorry to Miyuki, whom I loaned the trident from. (>_<)

Then some time after that, when I went and reached for my coscards on the other side of the table at Yusri's and Julia's booth, my knee decided to play a huge prank on me. It partially dislocated again.

I couldn't stand straight, and fell backwards. It just so happened that a customer came to pick up his ordered drawing from Yusri and I had the trident on the other side. I fell back on him and luckily, he was there. If not everyone will see an ambulance come to SOY for the first time ever. (>___<) Why? Because my bone wasn't popping back in place until that customer helped push me to standing position. I had to lean on the trident for balance after that. It was really painful. Much more than the other times.

Stupid knee injury. I had not had a relapse in like, 3 years. I HATE YOU FOR MAKING MY LIFE MISERABLE!!!

And I made Isa, Yan Jean and the rest who were there a huge shock. Yan Jean almost wanted to carry me. And she kept massaging my knee when I sat down on the chair at the booth. She was so nice!! (^__^) Because of that, the pain subsided a bit and I was better for the rest of the event. Though I had to walk damn slow.

Went to change out soon after that and went to have dinner with Sasaki, Sarina and Isa. Our dinner was like, 3 and 1/2 hours long. We sure are a talkative bunch!! HAHAH! Let's have dinner again someday~~ XD

Thinking back, I met a lot of new cosplayers and not a lot of the older cosplayers. Well, some came but did not cosplay; some did not come; and there were a whole lot of new cosplayers.

The most that I saw were doing VOCALOID and KHR. Hahah!! So many Chrome Dokuro in Kokuyo uniform... I think there were about 4 or 5, including me. They were kinda friendly and smiled back to me when I smiled at them. XD Some of their team-mates were like, "eh... your clone" or "look, another Chrome~".

Oh. And there was this line of cosers standing at the exit from the auditorium giving free hugs. I hugged the first girl; the second and third one seemed a bit shy, so I didn't hug them; the fourth was a tall but cute guy and the last girl were both hugged.

That guy was damn cute. He was going "Chrome~~~ Chrome~~~" at me since I stepped out from the exit and held out his hands while looking expectantly at me with sparkly eyes. HAHAH!! Yes, sparkly eyes. Lol~ The last girl was like, "People won't hug you la... You guy leh..". In the end, I still hugged him cause I think he kinda like Chrome a lot since he kept going "Chrome~~". And he was so happy. Hahah!!

Lastly, to newbies, please wrap your weapons before leaving the house. I don't wanna see another episode where the police ran from mrt station to the bus-stop to check out cosplayers with weapon props. No harm to wrap it up and save yourself some trouble with the police too. Yeah?

There is something that I don't understand. Yet when I try to do so, it makes me even more confused. =/ It just seems to me that each generation is degrading in maturity and mentality. Except a few individuals here and there.

Basically, I have nothing against kids, or child-like people. But this is beyond child-like, it's childish.

Sure, you guys are young, and some are as young as 11 or 12 years old. And I do understand that you guys are in the transition phase to being mature from a primary school kid. But this is no excuse for acting so rowdily and dangerously in public. I'm not sure how you guys act usually, but from what I've seen and experienced at events, it is true.

When there's a huge space available, you guys play catching, start nerf wars, play catch-ball etc. IN COSTUMES AND/OR HOLDING PROPS.

Big events? Fine, you're too excited and made a mistake.
Small events? Please, use your goddamn brain and think. Unless you're telling me that you're born without a brain, which I supposed so.

Kids, there is a time and venue for everything.

Plus, people in the cosplay community have advised many of you lots of times. And guess what? It falls on deaf ears. Perhaps some have stopped, but it seems to me that the kids doing all these are increasing in numbers.

Oh, and you guys started calling us meanies. I wonder who made us so? Do know that there are oldfags that get along very well with newcomers until shit starts happening. Which I won't go into as it is a long long story.

Looking back at the past few years that I've been in this community, such behaviours don't really exist. There wasn't so much of dangerous and rowdy acts. Sure, we do get excited and run to our friends. But we do take note of our environment. If the situation allows for running, we will; If it don't, we walk.

I guess people born in the earlier years are much more mature, not because of age, but because of our upbringing. Kids are just... very stubborn these days. Perhaps they are being spoilt too much.

Oh wells. As long as my friends and I don't get hurt, I'm fine.

The staring incidents, yaoi/yuri hype at events and scandals are stories for another time. When I am free that is.

Now I wonder who actually took their precious time to read through this particularly boring and long blogpost. Hmm... Does it even make sense? (>_<)

Hair cut

YAY!! I finally had my "long desired" hair cut on Tuesday. (^_^)v Even the lady cutting my hair was kind of surprised that I really wanted to cut my long hair to a pretty short style.

Well, in case you're thinking how long my hair is, here's a pic of it. It may look short in front, but it's almost mid-back behind. It took about 2 years to grow to this length from an extremely short hairstyle. (T_T) Was still schooling back then and had short hair for easy management.

I actually printed quite a number of pictures as hair references to base my decision on. In the end, I used Kamenashi Kazuya's old photos as references and passed it to the hairdresser. She was doubtful that I wanted to cut my long hair. But I insisted. (is stubborn) And in the end, the hairstyle suited me!!! XD

Though I had to rebond a bit because my hair was originally wavy, especially when short. Cost me RM$120 in total. Well, it was worth it. And SG's salons charged about the same price. So why not do it in Malaysia at a trusted salon that I've been going to since young? (^_^) Good way to spend my ringgit ang bao money too. Hahah!!

My hair is much actually shorter than the reference pics. Might as well cut it shorter since I'm there anyway. XD Oh, and it isn't exactly the same as the reference pictures, but it is roughly the same kind of style. Needs to learn styling le. Then I can get the same style when it grows slightly longer. XD

I had always thought I looked kinda boyish in this short Mikuo wig. Then I realised, my current hair is about the same too! My hair is of course even shorter, and has less volume. But, the same thing is that I look boyish now too! Much much more boyish, I would say. (^_^) More aunties are gonna call me ah boy again. And I 100% sure that I'm gonna shock everyone when I head back to SG this coming Sunday. Hahah!!

A hot getaway - Penang, Malaysia

Yesh, it's hot over here. Way hotter than in SG where at least it has been raining for the past few days. The sun here blazes even early in the morning when we go to the wet market. (T_T) I feel as if I'm a vampire, with my skin felt like as if it's being burnt. And no, not that Twilight kind where I will sparkle. HAHAHA!

I'm gonna be here for 2 weeks, from 20th Feb to 6th March. So please do not sms or call me cause you'll be wasting your own money. I won't pick up or reply either. FB and MSN are great places where you can find me from the afternoon onwards till night time.

The real reason that I'm back here in Penang is because grandma has been asking my mom to bring me back here for her birthday since last December. I was working then and did not take the time off to come back. So now I took advantage of the lull period at my workplace to come back. (^_^)

And being back has been great!! Finally it feels like the Lunar New Year where family members gather together. More will be coming back this weekend for grandma's birthday. YAY!! Haven't seen some of them in a very long while already. Time to catch up. FB is useless when it comes to this kind of thing. Face-to-face is better. XD

For now, my two "tiniest" wishes while being here is that my nail polish will stay at least till this Sunday is over and that mosquitoes will stop stinging me. One, I forgot to bring my nail polish over just in case any chipping off happens. And it already started chipping. Two, mosquitoes are everywhere even though it's so hot!! [buahs more medicated oil to stop itchiness]

I'm one super duper happy girl in the time period since my last blog post till now. Many things have happened and they made me excited, happy and even squealing like a crazed fangirl. XD

First off, CURE footprints. Zinta, Leon, Kaname and Kagami Saki came to my page!! XD It was after I joined their fanclubs. I guessed they got curious as to who is this girl that keep coming over to their page to look at pics. No tactics are involved Pino. Awesome pics are in fanclub albums. XD

Then came the lunar new year. Not much mood this time round but as long as I got my ang baos, who cares? HAHA!! Time to enjoy the long weekend. Oh, next year's lunar new year also happen to be a long weekend, I think. XD

Jumping back into history a bit. I had fun Kagamine shoot with Isa on the last weekend of January. We remember to recruit photogs, but forgot about saikangs. (>_<) But anyway, we wore our costumes from home so that was not much need for any. Perhaps just taking care of our belongings while we shot. Maybe next time ba. Do keep a lookout for our pics on FB and dA!!

Following which, Hakuu tempted me with Manic Panic hair dyes!! Gosh. I'm so damn tempted to get Vampire Red and After Midnight Blue!! But since my mom ain't convinced enough to allow me to bleach my hair, I shall just get the Vampire Red first. It still looks awesome on unbleached hair. XD As for Atomic Turquoise, it looks like Hatsune Miku's hair colour!! But I think our own hair must be bleached till a very light colour before the colour can turn out great.

Then then then, my cousin gave birth!!! They called earlier just now to report the good news. It was a baby girl!! Though a little on the lighter side, she's a healthy baby. Now I got one more niece. =)

In just another 12 hours time, I'll be sending my brother off to Tekong for NS. It's finally time, huh? On one hand, I'm happy that my brother is finally turning into a MAN and not a BOY anymore. On the other hand, I'm worried for him. Mixed feelings much? Lol. I'm feeling pretty neutral actually.

For the next month at least, he won't be there at home anymore. No one to bicker with, no one to tease and vice versa, no more fights and no more a lot of stuffs. Maybe I'll miss it.

But at the same time, I get to hog his laptop!! Haha!! [evil laughter]

Eh.. but must make sure it doesn't kena any virus or anything. Guess I'll just watch videos and play the games he have ba. Safer. Anything happens to his laptop, I die. =_=

Anyway, gotta wake early to put out that 2 huge black garbage bags which contains lotsa old clothes for charity. Might as well just stay awake since then... Hmm..

My beloved friend

Received a piece of bad news earlier tonight, about half an hour ago. A friend of mine, who was suffering from an illness, had died. Tomorrow is the last day of her wake.

Tharshini, or more affectionately know as Tharsh to all of us, is a very nice and happy girl. Even though I'm not that close to her, even though we were in the same class for less than 1 year, she's still a beloved friend of mine. Just like any other friends in my life. We still say hi whenever I see her.

Seeing her is like seeing the sun shine, even in the darkest storms. She's so happy and optimistic whenever I see her. It's almost like she has never been sick before.

Her death came as a sudden shock to me. I have not received any sms because I had changed my number after graduation.

I wanted to attend the wake, but I can't due to personal and family reasons.

Tharsh, you'll be remembered. Always. By the class of 113.

A new year begins

While most people were out counting down for New Year, I was sitting comfortably at home doing my own stuffs. I don't even care whether it's the last day of the year or not. It's just another day. I want to move forward carrying all my painful and happy memories, not look back and get tied to the past by those very same memories.

Anyway, on 1st Jan 2011, I had a shoot with Eclair. Our Sakura and Snow Miku from Vocaloid. We had the shoot at T3 where it's much more suitable than Chinese Gardens for our characters. Spent a whole day at T3 with Eclair, Kabuto, Jon, JS, Amanda and Zelmer. It was fun and slack and as usual, eating. XD

I gave them all, myself included, a shrimp shock. We ate at Popeye's and I ordered popcorn shrimps cause it looks interesting. About half an hour after finishing, my fingertips started to get swollen. My face turned red and puffy, eyes become blood-shot and my upper arms and torso turned red as well. I looked like some freak that has serious skin problems.

They told me to drink water to wash it out of my system. Luckily I asked Amanda and JS to help me buy a bottle of mineral water, which I finished 3/4 of it while preparing for the shoot. Yes, I decided to continue with the shoot because I hoped that the allergy-like reaction ain't staying for long. BECAUSE I NEVER HAVE ALLERGIES TO SHRIMPS OR ANY KIND OF FOOD BEFORE.

True enough, it resided within an hour or so. And I count myself lucky not to have anymore complications besides itchiness and redness.

Oh, I think the mystery about the shrimp shock is solved. Most probably it's the batter that they mixed for the shrimps. So now, I can't eat anything at Popeye's except for fries and mash potato. Nothing that comes with batter.

Ahh.... Just remembered I need to prep for Kagamine Rin and Yuki-Onna. Crap, I'm gonna get heat stroke in singapore's weather for yuki-onna. (>_<)

Back in SG

Back in SG since Monday night. Had dinner with the gang and our "next door neighbours" before heading home. And crap the taxis. Me and Kabuto had to wait for an hour before we finally managed to call for a cab. All others are rushing into town for the extra 3bucks charge. What the hell..

Anyway, I was in KL over the weekend for Comic Fiesta with Eclair, Kabuto, Amanda, JS, Miyuki and Jon. Crazy weekend indeed. With all the epic and cracky late night meetings with the gang over super random topics and even having Zelmer over to chat as well. Most funny thing was, we realised that Zelmer, Ash, Broken and Tsuki was our neighbour at the hotel!! Funny much. Haha!!

Did Vocaloid magnet version with Eclair as Gakupo, Kabuto as Luki, Miyuki as Kaito and me as Mikuo on day 1. When standing in a line, one can see a "staircase". LOL!! I'm the shortest. (T_T) But it was fun!! XD We had fans screaming even before they asked for photos. Lol!! It was so epic.

Two girls wanna ask our Gakupo for a photo and the four of us were standing in a circle. They wanna poke Gakupo but don't dare. I saw it, tap Gakupo and pointed behind her. She turned and they screamed while running away. LOL! Not sure if they caught any photo of us after that.

Event area was cramped to the max. And it's one way only on the second day as they implemented crowd control. The organisers most probably received complaints over the cramped walking space that allows no more than 2 people at some areas.

Short but major updates

Not blogging for a month = major updates needed.

Reasons for not blogging? I got distracted by the animes that I wanted to catch up on/watch/re-watch. Namely Nurarihyon no Mago, Hakuouki: Hekketsuroku, Suki na Mono wa Suki Dakara Shōganai and Gakuen Heaven. Oh, and my mangas as well.

But anyway, I’m gonna do a quick update first. Hopefully it’s short and sweet. Then maybe upload some photos when I get home tonight. Updating at work. XD

23/10 to 30/10
My cousins, aunt and more importantly, my grandma, came all the way from Penang. My grandma hasn’t been here in 18 years since my brother was born. My brother has school and my mom ain’t able to walk much due to her leg injury last year. So I took the week off to accompany them.

Went to many places in SG, bought some stuffs, took pictures etc. They just have to compare the currency when buying stuffs. -_-

1/11 to 12/11
Was running around Chinatown with Eclair to buy cloth and materials for our costumes for AFA. She sewed both sets in 2 weeks, or less than that since she can only focus on it until she finished her exams on the Wednesday just right before AFA.

Bought materials and worked on my props over the weekends. Not to forget my brother keep suaning me on the workflow and yet give my ideas to stabilise my props.

13/11 to 14/11
AFA is here!

Was to meet Matthew at 6.20am and reach Eclair’s place by 7am, but I was late by 10mins. In the end we left her house at only 9.30am after doing the socks/nails/contacts/makeup etc. Attended AFA as Snow Miku and Eclair as Sakura Miku. XD Met many peeps and lots of camping cause Eclair shoes were killing her. Saw KANAME. XD But didn’t manage to recognise him in time to ask for a picture.

Went in casual on day 2. Saikang a bit for Isa and Alan; went on buying spree with Shireen and lastly dinner with Isa and some more peeps.

15/11 to 25/11
Got chui after AFA. Super exhausted for work, but fortunate to have Hari Raya Haji for sleeping in. However, my laptop crash the night before and I’ve no choice but to work on it till evening. Even so, most of my pictures and songs and mangas are gone. Gone forever!!! Took me pain and ages to search and download them. Yet they’re just gone. T_T

Wanted to do my report on AFA but got distracted by animes. Since I have almost nothing to do now at work, so just a quick update till I get home and hopefully, no more distractions. =P

Hope it’s short but detailed enough to let you guys know what I’ve been up to in the past month.

Mood swings, fights/quarrels, haze, boredom, addictions. These five words shall be my topics for blogging today.

Mood swings
I considered myself fortunate because I do not have much of a mood swing, even during certain days of the month. However, recently, I’m affected by even the most trivial things, even if they do not concern me.

I have no idea what is wrong with me. But maybe, just maybe, it’s due to something that has gotten worse in the past 2 to 4 years.

Just hope that I can tolerate more. Or rather, I think I have somehow grew more indifferent to it already.

Fights/Quarrels
A question, if one party doesn’t retaliate or retort back at all, does the argument still stands?

Well, it happened to me. I said nothing and did nothing after the incident happen. Yet it seems to be only my fault when the other party is making a big hoo-ha out of it.

Does being younger makes me the one at fault naturally? I don’t know.

Haze
They’re at it again - burning of the forested land to clear space for growing crops. Can’t they stop setting up over a hundred hotspots in just one day?

For the first time ever, I feel kind of suffocated by the haze. It’s just too heavy this time.

But hey! It’s perfect for mist guardians’ shoot! Natural haze/mist so that the pictures can do without any photoshop. How’s that? XD Haha! But it’s gonna be damaging to the health though. Don’t wanna take that much of a risk yeah?

Boredom
I guess this happens every day when I have nothing to do. Ah well. At least I have my mangas to accompany me.

Addictions
It’s all Alan’s fault!! Making me fall in love with Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru. XD I got so tempted that after I had bought the manga, I brought it to work.

Like what Toky said, I’m fortunate to have colleagues and superiors who don’t care what I’m doing when there is no work for me to do. So reading Uraboku at the workplace ain’t a problem. I finished 2 volumes!!

Look like it’s time to go back to the shop for more mangas. XD

Angry, yet neutral

I woke up this morning with a superb mood. And I was practically fine the whole day, having fun and laughter even when you tried to interfere with my packing of stuffs. Everything was fine. You just had to snap, don't you?

You know that I don't like people to touch my food/ingredient when I'm preparing for my own meal. Yet, knowing this, you still took a piece of my luncheon meat that I have specially put aside in the kitchen and not with the rest of the luncheon meat on the dining table.

I went "nge~~~" with a black face. I'll be fine after I'm done cooking. But you, knowing damn well that it is my usual habit when someone does it, had to go and slam the cupboard door. And said stuffs like, "OK! OK! I GO BUY BACK TO COMPENSATE YOU!" Then went to change and slam the front door hard.

Didn't you see the big blue food cover on the table?? Even if you hadn't and the ones in the kitchen are the last ones, you still shouldn't have ate it!! You should know damn well I'm selfish with my food unless I say "ok, you can eat it."

Then mom tried to come in between us to make peace. You just had to shout at her even though you're angry with me, don't you? It just doesn't make sense!! You see perfectly well that I'm fine already. Yet, you continue with your damn anger. Still saying, "I GO BUY BACK FOR YOU TMR! SORRY! SORRY! SORRY, OK?"

HEY! IT'S NOT ABOUT COMPENSATING. YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE ATE MY STUFFS WITHOUT ASKING ME!! So what if you're the father? You know damn well that it's my usual habit and one which I have tried hard to keep it in check in front of you. YET, YOU'RE THE ONE THAT JUST GOES ERUPTING LIKE A VOLCANO!

I did not say a single thing since you erupted. Yet you're still angry. FOR WHAT? I SEE NO POINT!!! IT'S JUST A PIECE OF LUNCHEON MEAT! AND YOU HAD TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE I OWE YOU A ZILLION BUCKS!!!

FREAKING HELL! I'm angry because you shouted at mom, who tries to make peace despite having a splitting headache.

But at the same time, I'm neutral at everything. You can be angry for all I care. I know I did nothing wrong. Ok, maybe I shouldn't have pulled an instant black face. I'm sorry for that. But it still doesn't warrant such a huge reaction from you.

Please, I'm begging you. Please do not turn for the worse anymore. You're making everyone living in the same household live in constant fear of not being able to predict your reactions. You're alienating yourself. You're not your dad who has so many children to turn to even if he's angry with a few. You only have TWO children. So please, stop turning for the worse ok?

Uragiri wa Boku no Namae Shitteiru

Went back to a manga spender again. Instead of chasing after 2 series, namely Shinsei Doumei Cross and Vampire Knight, I added another 2 series to my collection - KAMUI and Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru.

I wanted to re-read KAMUI but the chinese sites are too dangerous and mangafox scanlations aren't up to date at all. So I went to search as I had said in my previous post a week ago. Then yesterday, I went to buy another 2 volumes of KAMUI and found Uraboku sitting right on the shelf above KAMUI. Since Alan has tempted me with this series for cosplay, I thought I might as well buy it for my own collection. The art is so pretty~~ XD

In the end, I spent SGD$32.80 on the mangas alone. Have never spent so much before on manga alone. (>_<)

KAMUI

KAMUI~~~~~ [melts]

Finally got my hands on the manga!! XD Yeah yeah, I know it's an old series. But I really love this manga. It doesn't matter how many times I've reread it, it's still love~ [melts]

Oh oh! I love that female assistant at the Comic Connection in Causeway Point. She was willing to order just 1 book of volume 1 of the KAMUI manga when I told her there was none on the shelves. She even gave me a discount if I were to buy everything at one shot since she says it was an old series. Or I could reserve those volumes and then buy off one by one. I told her to reserve for me. Also, she gave me member discount on the manga even though I did not have a membership. She was just so nice!!!! It'll be better if other shops have someone like her working in there. It just makes the customers smile and wants to come back for more stuff. XD

You may think I'm over-reacting and exaggerating, or maybe I indeed am. However, she really brought a smile to my face when I was feeling kinda down for the whole day. It's some mood swing thingy and I sensed that this is the first time it had gotten so bad. Pissed at every little thing. Meh~ Where's the smile-y me?

I uploaded a video onto FB. My first video, or rather, it was a video made by Kaeri and I asked for permission to upload. Wee~~ Go see. REVOLT: ENTER A NEW PHASE. A project started by Kaeri and Ray, undergone many happenings, changed and became what it is on the video right now. Need to prep for shoot liao. XD [throws candy at Kaeri]

Isa collected my blazer from the tailor on my behalf. Now waiting to see when we both free to have shoot. The KHR team is like gg-fied. No idea when it is now and who's involved. More shoots and cosplays next year. XD I'm addicted~~

KAMUI

Gosh. It's so fucking hard to find a proper pic of the manga, KAMUI. Luckily I saved some when I was reading it on the chinese manga site. Even though that carries a lot of risks. =/

At first I was planning to do something, shoot or gathering, for Halloween. However, like the past 2 years, my plans are screwed again. 2 days after I place the status on FB, my relative sent a message saying that they're coming down on the 23rd October for a week. Ah.. Maybe just a mini shoot on Halloween itself if possible.

I may even be able to head down to Yio Chu Kang for Hetalia Day for a while on Saturday. Even though I don't play or watch Hetalia. Haha!!

Settled some stuffs again, like finally revamping my blogskin. And I still have stuffs to settle. Haix. Lazy me is lazy.

Cutie turned sexy and matured

For the past 3 years, I have been watching, always keeping an eye over this little cutie named Yamada Ryosuke.

I may not be his biggest fan whom chases everything he has a part in, but I can safely say that I have seen him grow in the entertainment industry. From before he was even roped into Hey! I first noticed Ryo-chan in Tantei Gakuen Q's tv drama, where he starred as my fave character from the same manga series, Amakusa Ryu. [For more details on the series, go google yourself.] He took the coolness and calmness personality of Ryu very well, much better than I had expected for a live adaptation of the character. Plus, Ryo-chan made Ryu looks so much cuter and suitable for his age. (^_^)

Now, I’m watching Hidarime Tantei EYE. By comparing Ryo-chan’s acts in his first show and the latest show, I say that he has grown a lot. More mature in his act and the feelings flowing through are much more natural. But he sure does have an affinity for detective roles, ain’t he? Haha! (^_^)

Well, I’ll still continue watching over him. That is if he stays in the industry.

Sometimes, looking at people [or kids] like Ryo-chan makes me wonder how much of a difference there is between me and them. It’s not about the achievements, but the dreams that we hold dear and the efforts undertaken towards it. We all have dreams, but they have taken the extra mile to chase after theirs. However, I’m still inching along the road of life slowly. I know I’ll never be able to do anything to reach my dream, not even brushing past it. Not in the past, not now, not even in the future.

I had the opportunity to do so once, when I was still in pre-school. I had a friend who shared the same dream and he had been working with it since then and achieved it. I think he’s still in the scene now, just that I have lost contact with him long ago and I kinda forgot what he looked like. He offered me the chance and his mom even spoke to my parents about it. Or rather, the people he was working with saw me and actually asked his mom to speak to my parents. But, with due considerations by my parents, we turned down the offer.

Now, I wonder, if I have taken that path then, would I still be who I am currently? I may already be well in the scene and enjoying my dream. But my life would have been entirely different. I wouldn’t meet all the wonderful people that I have already met through school, CCA and cosplay up till now. I wouldn’t have so much time for myself to enjoy my interests, much less pursue them. My character, personality and take on life may even be totally different.

Ah well, I shan’t dwell on it anymore. I shall just continue being me. If there is ever a chance again, I would have a go at it. After all, a try, be it successful or not, wouldn’t harm me, right?

All about plans

Wants a photo shoot, and hope it’s soon. But there are still restrictions of me heading out. (T_T)

Finally had time to have a discussion over my “blue” plans with Crimmy. Even though our MSN convo turns here and there with distractions, we still manage to settle on the version and a shopping trip. It’s gonna be a shoot in 2011, and we may or may not end up with events. That’ll depend on Crimmy. =)

And, I still haven’t gotten the cloths for my secret plan for a trio!! [dies] And even though it’s slow, one of us has started on the costume already. Better hurry up on my side. (>_<) [dies a second time]

Had a talk with Kaeri, on his new plan with Rayray. It used to be Project Neo*Council, or PNC for short. But now, it has been changed to Revolt. I’m not at liberty to discuss the reasons and happenings of the change and such. But hey, I can at least advertise it. XD [gets whacked by kaeri and rayray]

I said I wanted to be a normal member because I’m afraid that I won’t be able to commit both time and efforts for a prolonged period of time. And yet, Kaeri still stated that I am the Internal Advisor/Member. How nice of him. (^_^) However, since when did I give anyone any proper advices? I’m really, really not sure but he says that I did. Ah, whatever. As long as I do my part for Revolt, I’m happy enough. At least I have done something different. (^_^)

It's from a shoot done on 19th June. And, I finally got the pictures on Natsu Matsuri from Sarina. Thanks darling!! The delay was because their computer has a blue screen and so, they can't edit. However, most of the pictures don't need much editting. XD [ish happy]

Anyway, I'm feeling what my sis, Isa, has been feeling just a week or so before. I'm bored!! Can I have a shoot please? Available ones are Chrome or Rumia. Casual VK Yuuki Cross also can, since I lack the jacket only. The jacket is sold. =) Maybe even Natsume Aya after I collected the blazer, which I hope is soon. The tailor had finished it quite some time ago liao. But it's because of me that both Isa and me hasn't collected it yet. (>_<) Sorry sis.

Or maybe an outing will do. Will be watching Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D with sis, julia, masataka and another person. YAY!! RE is always welcomed, be it game, movie or anything else. XD

Has been leaving my dA and Cure account stagnant for quite some time now. Maybe I should go update.

Dead Fantasy by Monty Oum

Monty Oum is pretty awesome. (^_^) He made use of characters from various games and incorporate them into one series of movies. Up to episode 5 is out already. Episode 6 to 8 or 9 is already under way. And I'm actually looking forward to how the plot develops, especially the fighting parts where moves from other characters not in these game series are used as well. XD There's a vid made by Monty Oum of the Dead Fantasy girls dancing Gee by SNSD. It's really interesting. (^_^)

Recently, I realised that my irritation at myself is accumulating everyday. Maybe it's just some internal moodswings and will not affect my daily life. Not that my life at home and relationship with a certain someone is in a better state to begin with. Nope, it's not my boyfriend. I don't have one to begin with either. (T_T) Sad huh? But oh wells...

Been having nothing to do at work besides reading 2 sets of newspapers everyday. Think I got more hardworking on news reading after I graduated. Reason being that I have a lot more time now as compared to the last two years. But it's killing me. The amount of time I have on my hand is killing me. It's making me lose motivation every single day. I really, really, really wanna go back and study.

Crap. Should really not dwell on the negative thoughts any longer.

Procrastination

Realised that my last blog entry was dated last month and I had nothing to do now. So might as well do some blogging to kill time while at work. Can you guess how slack my job is at times, eh? (^_^)

I am procrastinating on a lot of stuffs. One, things had happened and it’s preventing me to continue with some stuffs. Two, somewhere along the way, I lost a little motivation. Three, my schedule ain’t giving me a lot of allowance to do things as well. Or, I’m just looking for excuses on my procrastination. (>_<)

Also, I have a lot of thoughts lately on blogging. Ok, maybe not lately but for the last 6 months at least.

I’m thinking of setting up a mandarin blog that records my daily stuffs and random thoughts, or solely on cosplay only. Perhaps a combined one may do. It’s to let me use Chinese again after not writing it for the last 2 and a half years. I’m getting rusty in Chinese, which I’m once so proud of. I could also share cosplay stuffs with Chinese cosplayers, whom are pretty awesome. (^_^) It doesn’t hurt to extend my online social circle right?

I don’t wanna use blogspot for this. Any recommendations? I know there’s some that is mainly in Chinese. But I’m not too sure which one to use.

Not only so, I once have thoughts of splitting my current blog into 2 different ones. One will deal mainly with my emotions, daily stuffs and random thoughts. [which is my current blog] And the other one deals mainly with my cosplay. [creation of a new one]

But I decided against it because cosplay is part of what makes me who I am. It has become part of my life ever since I decided to touch on this hobby. It also gives me more reasons to laugh in my otherwise, sad and pathetic life that comprises of school only. So, it stays as one blog where everything goes.

Music for life

Damn the picture for being so small.

And... damn my knee.

It started feeling weird ever since I woke up yesterday. It felt as if it could give way any second and was really really weak. So all I could do was walk super slowly. Slower than my usual speed by about one-third, I guess.

Then today, it felt much better. But I still don't feel safe. As such, I've decided to put on my knee guard for half an hour or so. Hope it works. Haven't worn it since 2 over years ago. It's super tight. (>_<)

Ah!!! Still have quite a few stuffs to settle. And I'm procrastinating. Dies. Am so gonna get killed. Haha!!

I wonder which sky is crying.......

I really, really, really wanna wear a mask at home right now.

I should just hide my real self somewhere deep in my consciousness and barricade it with many many walls, gates, locks and whatever. So much so that I can't come out, and no one can enter. Neither can they unlock the real me.

I know and understand that people does change over time. So does their personality as one gets older. However, for one specific individual, it's hard for me to keep up. That person can be happy and joking with me and then the whole mood can turn sour in just a split-second.

The reason? Either my words/actions are taken offensively or my tone at that moment does not sound pleasant to that person. When I absolutely meant nothing offensive at all.

It has been a roller-coaster ride over the last 2 to 4 years. But it ain't over yet. I sense more crazy days and years ahead. Even more so after I started to work. Many things had changed and it ain't ever going back. I just hope that things will turn out better in the end. Even if I had to wait for over a decade for it to happen.

At times like this, I feel like crying. However, I don't do so. Reason? It just infuriates both parties even further. Plus, crying won't solve anything. People may say it's a form of release. But I just don't wanna. It's like showing my weakness and I don't want people to see me as someone who is weak.

Damn annoyed at myself and everything else!

The sickness bug is going around with this unpredictable weather every single day. Even I have not been spared.

I've been having stomachache since morning, soon after I woke up. And it kept coming and going for the whole day. Then towards evening, it turned into something like gastric pain, and it won't go away. It even made me lose my appetite and I couldn't finish my dinner.

Should be sleeping soon. I don't wanna tahan another day of pain tomorrow and I have lotsa things to do at work.

Natsu Matsuri

Had fun with quite a number of peeps at Natsu Matsuri yesterday. Wei Ping, Mei Juan, Shireen, Ros, Sarina, Winson, mini sasaki, Botak Ahpek and the many others I saw yesterday. Thanks for making my first Natsu Matsuri such a fun thing to do.

Ah... I wished Isa, Neir, Julia and Sasaki was there too. But it's ok, we shall have another chance next year. (^_^)

My catch of the day!!

I pestered almost everyone to play with me. And I sounded so much like a little kid at her first funfair outing. XD Despite so, Wei Ping, Mei Juan, Shireen, Winson, Sarina and me went to buy the game tickets for the yo yos. Sarina had the bestest luck of us all, 5 yo yos!!! I had 4, and gave one to Shireen. Everyone had fun playing despite the wet and muddy ground. The bottom of my jeans got muddy too.. So did my shoes. (>_<)

My Asahi Mitsuya Cider and Be.Box Salmon Teriyaki Bento.

The bento and cider was super super nice~~ I can say that it's better than the other salmon teriyaki bentos I've eaten before. XD And that medicine-looking bottle is actually the sauce. I poured only half a bottle in and the saltiness was just nice.

Mini sasaki has its adventure at Natsu Matsuri.

I seriously wasn't expecting to see him there. I was shocked when I saw him and then realised that his group has a dance performance. Took some pics of them, but the angle is slanted and they are really small on the pictures. I has lousy skills.

Saw many many other peeps. And I heard that someone else was there. So me and Winson kept a high alert after that. Don't wanna see that person lor...

I'm already 19!!!

I feel like ranting today. And I shall because this has happened not once, not twice but many many times till I lost count already. It shall be a long rant.

Long long ago, back in secondary school, my mom set me a curfew. But she removed it a year or so later. So that was nothing much. I myself know that I have to be home by latest 11pm. I don't like to go home that late either since I'm not an owl on the prowl for prey at night.

But, what's wrong with me going out on alternate weekends? And I am limiting myself to only major events [about 4/5 per year], photoshoots [<3 times a year] and some outings with friends only! [mainly birthdays of my clique]

Does she even have any idea how many plans I have gave up on or rejected because of the damn limitations?? Does she know that some of my friends are sick of asking me out already since I always reject them? NO!! She doesn't know and she doesn't listen to my explanations!!

Freaking hell, I'm 19 years old already! I do have some say in going out, don't I?

And, for events and such, I always tell her at least 2 weeks before hand, so that she knows I'll be out and where I am. I may lie about my doings, but I never lie about my destination. Anyway, she'll still forget and get mixed up as to when I'm heading out even if I wrote in on her calendar in red and bold enough to see.

Damn it! And then she's blaming me for me asking my dad for transportation money? Hello! He's supposed to give me that for my transport to work at least. If I need to top up my ez-link when I go out, I'll always use my own money. I did this ever since I started to work.

So now what? Pushing everything onto me? My pay is little, and I need to give both parents some money. Then the rest I think can spend on food and transport, no need to use on other stuffs already. Sheesh. Don't even need to think about saving for my future schooling expenses such as stationery and material costs.

Oh, and she mentioned that going out once a month is the max limit that I'm SUPPOSED to have. Somebody tell me which era am I living in right now? Once a month? I won't even have a social life!!

I may be clumsy, but at least I am somehow streetwise enough to protect myself. I have self-awareness and alertness. I know what to do, what to avoid and what not to do when headed out. And I'm obedient enough as to when she says no, I really don't go out at all and try to find an excuse to tell my friends. What more does she wants?

Freak it. I'm still going to out tmr. And it'll be my second time this month besides my band practices.

It's a super duper long rant. Pardon me please. The bottle's kinda overflowing with this one.

Rejection

Yeah, I'm gonna reject that interview offer by Haru due to several reasons. Mainly that I have a job now and mom says no to the timing and venue. So yeah, turning down my hope of working in a cosplay/punk/jap sch uni-related workplace.

At first I told her about the offer, and she says no. So I was like, try also no harm ma. Interview timing is after my current working time, so can make it. But she say no again and got irritated.

45 minutes passed by~

I told her I decided to pass up on that interview offer. And told her the reasons. Then suddenly she got frustrated and started to talk louder. I was like, "huh? Isn't what I'm doing according to your wishes now?" I tried reasoning with her, but she still is frustrated.

Ok, I admit I was a little louder also. But that ain't enough reason for my brother to turn against me and get pissed also. It doesn't even concern him and he's wearing his headphones. He won't even hear me unless he paused his songs or something.

Suddenly, I felt like crying. First, you want me to get a job. Ok, I go find [and I did found jobs]. Then you come and limit this, limit that in my job search. Must be near home, timing cannot be like after 9pm, job place must be easily accessible etc. Kk, I followed all this. But somehow, I just felt that it became your job search instead of mine.

I do understand your point of view, but I wished I have more say in my job instead.

Lovely days

It is indeed lovely days for me for the past few days. Finally I had a job, as an admin assistant, and quite a few other things happened.

Was supposed to meet Toky for lunch on first day of work, aka Friday, but my timing was damn weird and I realised I don't have his number till he called after I had lunch with my colleagues. (>_<) So in the end, we had a super short dinner with lots of laughter instead. XD Cause I had to rush back for alumni band and I was already late. Well, we're given permission to be late anyway since most of us are working or studying. XP

Then, on Saturday, went to help out at my darling sister's Angel Sanctuary shoot. Was late again and lost my way to Fort Canning. T_T First time going there on my own la!!! Lucky sis was kind enough to wait for me at the junction. Met up with the rest and realised that Mini went the same way I did as well. Haha! We all end up at the back of Fort Canning instead. XD

Weather was definitely "lovely". Sunny, clouds, sunny, drizzle, cloudy and windy, drizzle, cloudy and then finally sunny again. It got hotter towards the end of the change. And we have quite a few cosplayers melting~~ Especially Neir. XD

Met new peeps. Erika for crapping with me, Kenneth and Rain [i sense bgr?], oreo/orichi/yong jie, anson the "winged" photog, Oodles/WeiPing and some others that I didn't managed to catch their names.

Despite the lovebites from our dearest mosquitoes and the super nice grandpa sun, it was a lovely shoot with a lot of fun~~

Now then I realised the joy of being a helper and not a cosplayer. XD LOL! I think I'll get whacked. [hides]

New job

YAY!! I found a new job. XD I will be working at NYP as a admin assistant and is starting work tomorrow. Anyone up for lunch? Even though I have yet to know what is my work schedule and timing for lunch break.

It's my first time trying out a job agency. And I'm kind of glad that I found a job after I rotting at home for 2 weeks. Yes, ROTTING at home watching many many animes and doing nothing else besides helping out household chores.

Went out in the afternoon alone to the agency to sign some papers. Then headed over to Daiso to shop for a while before I head home because of a damn headache.

The weather is just so damn hot today! And yesterday was cold because it rained the whole day. (-_-lll) What's wrong with the weather nowadays? Global warming ain't the only reason please.

I feel like revamping my blog, but I couldn't find a skin that is nice enough, is in two columns only and works with IE. I could deal with Mozilla Firefox too but I think majority who happen to PASS BY my blog don't use Mozilla. And yes, I emphasised on the PASS BY because I think not many will purposely come and read my blog. [gets whacked by whatever readers there are]

The new template designer thingy that blogger offers has double columns and is customisable. It'll look more professional too. But I have no need for it to look professsional when no one reads my crap and the pictures that I tried to use as headers look square-ish rather than rectangular-ish as intended. Or I should just edit the pictures themselves. But I am lazy orz....

Well, I think most blogs nowadays looks about the same because of the designer thingy. There's not much choices available anyway, even though if you can customise the font colours and font type.

Maybe it's high time that I learn how to do up a html text for blogskins.

Da fruits/vegetables/ice cream and photogs

Got invited by Minichaos and Isarandel to their Vocaloid photoshoot yesterday. It was a hell lot of fun and laughter watching them do stupid stuffs. XD The fruits/vegetables/ice cream are like totally crazy with our dear banana spazzing during preparation. XD Oh ya, need to wash them too because they are too "dirty". LOL!! It's my first time being a helper but it was fun running around with them all. And for once, I'm glad that I'm not the one cosplaying. XD [gets whacked]

Main focus: THE FLUTE!!

After close to almost a year and two months, I'm going back to playing the flute. (^_^) This is something that I had really enjoyed doing over the past 6 years of my school life. It is also something that allows me to overcome my fear of standing on the stage and in front of many other people. So yeah, I'm back to school, aka YJC, to play in the band once again and maybe I'll be performing. XD

The alumni are asked to help out because there won't be any J2s around. They'll be busy perparing for prelims and A's already. But the performance... I just can say that it's really crazy this time round. 4 rehearsals and then, performance!! Never tried this before and it's kind of scary just thinking about my rusty skills. [shivers]

Went out on Friday afternoon to collect my outstanding pay for July. WOO~ It's much more than I had expected. Haha!! If only I had worked till 5th August instead... More money!! LOL!! Not that hard up for money anyway since I hardly spend besides my cosplay stuffs, which is a HUGE~ portion of my expenditures, and eating.

I think I may want to sleep early tonight. Having headache earlier today. Plus I'm going to Mini's team's photoshoot tomorrow. It's gonna be hot and tiring having fun with them. XD

Hagane no Renkinjutsuji

Well, like I said in the previous blog post, I have been rewatching Full Metal Alchemist. (^_^) With my laptop's slow loading speed, I have managed to watch till episode 30. 24 more episodes to go for the first season, and many more for second season, aka the 2009 one, and FMA brotherhood.

And..... WHY MUST THE ONLY FEMALE HOMUNCULUS BE LUST AND SLOTH ONLY!?! Never mind. Guy cosplays are kind of good too and it's gonna be a challenge. lol~ Not that I'll be doing them soon anyway. Unless I have a full team. XD

Finally, I've gotten my lazy ass to settle down and do up a proper resume. Little did I know that writing a proper resume is such a tedious task. I spent a freaking two days on it. Got it done yesterday and sent in to several employers already. Gonna send in one more to another employer and I'm done for the day. So now, I hope that I can find a job asap and it'll be one of my choice. =)

The second finally goes to the job agency calling me once yesterday afternoon and today. There's two pieces of news from them. One, hold on to the job offers that they had given me. Two, one of the employers told them that I was in the list of people whom they are considering to employ. If successful, I may have a job soon and it's one that last till December. This is a pretty good offer and I only have to work only 5 days! Woohoo~~ Free on weekends to do stuffs. XD

Looks like I'm gonna be alone at home again today. =/

The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross[Shinsei Doumei Kurosu]

This is a pretty nice manga that I have in my pathetic little collection. (^_^)

Haine was actually sold to her foster parents for fifty million yen. She met Shizumasa when she was still a yanki [gang member] and reformed after he told her to live life the way she actually wanted. With that, she fell in love with Shizumasa. Haine then enters the Imperial Academy [Teikoku Gakuen] and tries to win his love. Of course, nothing goes that easy in a story and lots of things happened. And Shizumasa is not Shizumasa but a shadow twin?!

HAHAHAHA!! Yes, I am that evil to leave you guys hanging there. XD If you want to know more, go read the manga yourself. The art is pretty nice too. (^_^)

One Piece is not a series that I'm really chasing after but since my brother is watching it and it's extremely interesting, I joined in. XD [peeks over at my bro's laptop] However, not all "older" animes are available. T_T

Start of a new chapter

Sexy Okita is sexy~

It's the start of a new chapter of my life starting today. (^_^)

I have resigned from my operator job last Friday and will be looking for a new job. Well, due to certain circumstances, I thought I should find a better job for the remaining half of this year. Not only because of the salary, but because the work experience that I'll be getting will be different. I may not be used to serving customers or such, but I feel that there is a need for me to overcome that hurdle of approaching others.

So yeah, resigned and intend to find a new job. Hopefully the job agency that Xinyi brought me to managed to help me find one. I'll be on the lookout for other jobs as well on my own.

Presents received on my last day of work

Erm.. I should be the one buying sweets or chocolates for them instead. It's the usual practice at the company that anyone leaving would buy something and treat the co-workers. I have received quite a number over the last few months. But because I thought I was only a part-timer, I wouldn't have the need to do so. However, after receiving these presents from my co-workers, I think I should buy something for all of them when I go back to collect my outstanding pay next month. (>_<)

Seriously, I thought Lynn wouldn't come out when she messaged me that she's still at home at around 2++pm, nearing 3pm of our designated meeting time already. But she still came~~~ So Yihuan must be the damn privilege one out of P4. All of us are there for her birthday celebration this year. Haha! The rest of us had 1 or 2 people missing on their birthday celebration. (>_<)

Kagamines are love~

I just love the Kagamine pair. They're so damn cute and adorable!!! (=w=)

Now, let's come back to the topic I wanted to talk about.

I was looking through my pictures from Cosfest 2010 and TGX 2010 when I realised something. My face looked damn different. My face looks more flawless on Cosfest as compared to TGX. Reason? I think it's the makeup that I had done.

For cosfest, I applied moisturizer, makeup base, concealer and foundation. 4 layers. For TGX, as I was rushing, I just applied makeup base, concealer and foundation. Short of one layer and it made a difference. Since the rest is the same except that I used less concealer on TGX, it should be the moisturizer that made the difference?

The ZA True White Day Protecter Moisturizer works in 3 ways. It protects the face from UV rays, moisturizes and also allow the foundation to go onto the face more flawlessly. [O.O Looks like I'm advertising. XD] This is what I think made the difference in my makeup for cosfest and tgx.

Not too sure if that's the reason or my face condition turned chui on TGX. But I really liked my complexion in the photos from cosfest. Love the photos from TGX as well, but I think I let my Mukuro-sama down because I looked so chui that day. (>_<)

Ah well, I shouldn't harp so much on it now that it's over. I'll do a better job the next time.

Yup, I was down at TGX yesterday. With Miyuki as my TYL Mukuro! It was a random request by me and since she had the idea of cosing Mukuro-sama, we decided to do this version on TGX itself. It was a fast decision made after cosfest. XD

Actually, both our sets of costumes were borrowed from others. The blazer, wig and eyepatch I was wearing belonged to Miyuki. Her costume belongs to her friend who did this version of Mukuro on cosfest day 2. Haha!! It's all borrowed!! But I was really surprised that I could fit the blazer nicely, except that the sleeves are a bit long. Miyuki looks tall, but she's really small size with a nice figure. (^_^)

Anyway, it was a blast yesterday! Laugh damn lots with Eclair and gang [even though I don't know half of them till before we went home]. I think I used up a year's supply of laughter yesterday. My face muscles were sore from laughing too much. All the randomness and GARness. XD

Met up with quite a few people yesterday and remembered to camwhore with those I forgot to at previous events. Hayashi twins, Sochii, Miyuki etc... However, I forgot to camwhore with some people again. I remembered some, look for them, then forgot about others. It's always like this.. [heads desk]

Then then then, while I was saying hi to Yumi, someone dressed in black and blond wig came up right next to me to chat with Yumi as well. I turned and got a slight shocked. It was Jesuke!!! My heart skipped a beat. So shuai!! No wonder I idolised her. XDD I think she got shocked by my reaction as well. (>_<)

Oh, and I couldn't stop staring at one team. Eclair, ours will definitely be better. I have hope in our team! XD Oh, and I love gentlemenly acts. [hints hints]

I got so shocked to know that Matt lives right opposite my block, and Zerartul lives right next to mine. Haha!!! All the Sgcafers unite in Woodlands!! XD Now I know who to call to go down cosfest or other events together. But most sgcafers in Woodlands are males. Why?

Here's my late report from Cosfest IX - Let's Make Friends!

BE WARNED! WALL OF TEXT COMING THROUGH!

I was supposed to head down to day 2 of Cosfest with Yan Wei and Kai Sheng. However, Yan Wei has a last minute outing with secondary school friends and some of them were going overseas, sorta a last gathering and so he couldn't make it. But he went for day 1 already. As for Kai Sheng, I think he feels awkward going alone with me ba. Haha! So in the end, I am going alone as of Saturday night. Until Sunday morning when I got online and replied to Alan/Naoya's status on facebook. We happened to be heading out at around the same time and we decided to just head down together, along with Max and Kagami. Supposed to meet at 11am but none of us were on time. I was considered early even. -_-lll

We crashed Germaine's chalet to do makeup. Max and Kagami went to find Toky. However, it turned out that her chalet can only check in at 2.40pm. She and Ahhpat were crashing someone else's chalet too. Nonetheless, we still crashed in. It was then I met my newfound airen, Ahhpat darling! XD Did my makeup halfway and Sasaki called. She snucked out with Sarina and Tiffany!! Met them before they left and took some pictures. Thanks for calling me, my darling prince!

Went back to the chalet to find the others after meeting my prince and realised they moved. I had some trouble finding the Costa Sands Pasir Ris resort, but thanks to Eclair and Ahpek, I managed to find the place. Had to pass through the Pasir Ris park and I stared at the signboard to see where was the chalet area. Turns out that the signboard's map only drew the park area, not the chalet portion.

As I turned to leave, a group of teenagers about my age or so walked past and I heard them saying, "Eh, her look not bad sia!" Can you imagined how happy I feel inside? It's one of the rare times when I dress up and people actually commented that my outlook was good! This is happy thing number one.

Waited for Alan to finish changing with the help of two other boys whom I don't know. I was staring outside the door while sitted down when I heard a camera's click. One of them took a picture of me. If the picture hadn't been good, I would have killed him already! Haha!

In the end, me and Alan went to the event only at around 4pm. The rest went to have a late lunch. I wasn't feeling too good because of the heat and not having lunch earlier while Alan's reason was that he couldn't sit in his Brera costume. Haha! So we went to the event area instead, with him chanting, "It's hot! It's hot!" over and over again. Like parrot sia! XD

Caught some peeps and happy thing number two happened. I met and chatted with Jesuke!! It was my first time talking to her after idolising her for so long. [Besides Rhoda, she's my fave cosplayer in SG. ^_^] She even agreed to my request for a picture and thanks to Peggy for helping us to take the picture. They made a great Vocaloid pair! But I couldn't recognise Peggy at first. (>_<) Sorry!

Happy thing number three, the Okita Souji(s) on day 2 were all so cool! [fangirl mode] DD Tenka did the calendar version with a team that look totally awesome and another team which did the haori version had a super cute true male Okita. Jesuke had a team on day 1 too, but I wasn't there to fangirl over their awesomeness and her super bishie Saitou. To make it up, I camwhored with DD Tenka's and that cute guy's Okita [happen to spot him at the same booth. ^_^]. I also camwhored with the handsome Saitou and super pretty Chizuru in DD Tenka's team. They were super sporting and agreed to my camwhore requests. Thanks people!!

After that, I went to dinner at Burger King with Alan and his two other friends from Malaysia, Guki and Hermes. Lovely girls. As usual, I didn't want to eat anything after an event, so I only bought iced milo. Little did I know Alan bought 4 chocolate sundae pies, one for each of us. Ate that and felt much better. Must be the chocolate. XD Thanks Alan!

After which I went home with Daddy, aka NonChalant, via the green line cause I was too tired out already. Plus, no proper food for the whole day. Went home, upload pictures and got knocked out till the next morning. =)

Time to wrap it up.

Alrights. So I'm still confused as to whether I should cosplay or not. Even when my friends have some last minute changes and I'm going down alone first, that is if they are coming later on.

Maybe OC-ing ba. A Nana-ish attire, but not really Nana. I had wanted to wear my Chrome wig underneath a cap. Not the usual cap though. Erm... something like what Nana would wear la. But I don't want anyone to think that I'm cosfucking Nana because the hairstyle looks similar, so I decided to go with green wig. [My other wigs are yellow and brown. One is super bright, one is make me look fat. (>_<)] However, it's so green!! It's my failed Ranka wig from Kucos. Super flat, so can use for normal use with a cap. Can hide the tiny ponytail for Ranka too! =)

I hope it doesn't rain later. [prays]

I guess my feelings are like Chrome herself today. I am feeling neither happy nor sad nor anything else ever since I woke up this morning. Even though I smiled at everyone I met, it was a half-hearted smile which neither one of my colleagues could tell.

I feel empty. Like how Chrome has no internal organs since her devastating accident.

Shock setting in? Maybe.
Calmness before a storm? Maybe.
Lost at a crossroad? Yes, I am.

For now, it'll be taking a step at a time already.

Anyway, I met a new guy two days ago on FB. He added me and I was curious as to who he is, so I asked him via pm [and all those other random adds]. Turns out that he was my age and added me because I look familiar. Haha! Do I really resemble so many people? Sometimes, I wonder if that is a good thing or bad thing. Hmm...

Chatted with him on msn and I think he's quite a friendly person. But, it's THE INTERNET. Words carry no tone and everything may be a fake behind that computer screen. But who cares? As long as I have fun chatting online, there's no harm, right?

A crappy thing happened, I lost Isa's ribbon. I know I left nothing behind that day. I even searched before I left the toilet and knew I seen it in the bag. But I just couldn't find it! Isa says it's ok. However, it's not for me. I don't like to lose stuff that are owned by others. This hardly happens, but it did. [bangs wall]

Haix. Listening to my fave music did not help my moods this time round.

p.s. Happened to see on FB that Sochii's mood is also the same as mine, but her's got worse. Cheer up bro!

So for the past 6 and a half months, I've been playing this waiting game. However, at the end, I've lost. There was only that 20% to 50% chance that I may win in the end. But it was all gone with the overwhelming odds. (T_T)

I feel upset.
I feel like crying.
I feel like I've lost something important in this road named "Studies".

But I cannot cry. Crying means nothing at all. It doesn't help me to move forward. It meant defeat to me. And I ain't one that accepts defeats easily.

I'm going for all possibilities next year. Try looking at possibilities that are still available for this year and maybe, just maybe, overseas opportunities.

Whatever it is, I'll not give up. I may fret and worry over it, get moody over it, or get scolded at over it. But I'll not give up.

Camwhoring before taking the train home.

I had a photoshoot today with Sasaki as my partner. Macross Frontier!! Had a pretty enjoyable day despite some issues. Fortunately, it all turns out well in the end. ^_^

And with this photoshoot, I'm gonna put it up on CURE. Especially with that last picture taken by Sasaki. It was awesome!! But I fear that her camera will drop into the river and the rocks. That one seriously can't save de. Luckily, it was all well. XD

Basically, the shoot was a date~~ You guys can go guess who we did la. But I think the answer is somewhere up online~~ XD Easy to guess also.

By the way, my feet is kinda aching. Must be cause I wore that smoother socks with my shoes. Makes it difficult to walk properly without it dropping out. I should have just worn the other pair of socks instead. Cotton ones are rougher than the silk ones. But the silk ones damn nice!!! The effect also pretty good.

Report: Streetfest 2010

Finally I had some time to blog on today's event, STREETFEST!

Went as Chrome Dokuro, white dress version. Was supposed to have a team, but in the end only 2 people left. Me and Sana, aka Chrome and Tsuna. Then Kiyorin joined in as Primo. But I sorta pang seh them. >_< Sorry!!!!

Anyway, I dragged Isa to help me oversee my makeup. Then we forgot the right eye no need draw eyeliner. In the end draw only the top, the bottom lash there never draw. When I changed out and took out my eyepatch, I look damn funny. XD So I removed my makeup before dinner cause need to wait for everyone to buy finish.

Met lots and lots of people today, for all the various reasons that you can think of. (^_^) Got Ranka stuffs, makeup stuffs and wig comb. Isa brought the costume today but mine happened to arrive from China and Suki brought it to me. In the end, Isa has to bring it back home. (>_<)

Another thing, everyone keep asking where is my Mukuro-sama or my trident. But my version ain't supposed to have trident!! It's only a trademark of Mukuro, not Chrome, who is only a caretaker of the trident. As for Mukuro-sama, couldn't find one. (>_<)

Oh! And one girl wanted to take pic with me, and I said ok. Then her mom says the girl also wanna cosplay Chrome. XD So happy to see new potential cosplayers. Must jia yous! Finally got kids who aren't scared of me. Smiled at me and asked to take pictures. SO CUTE!! The rest ar... Either cry or run away. Chrome and white eyepatch very scary meh?

Tagged along Sasaki and rest practically the entire afternoon. Saw many awesome people~~~~ ViViD cosplay, the Gazette cosplay, Gumi cosplays, full Sandplay of the Dragon team and many many others. Oh! And Kaika too! XD She's so pretty. However, I think that there's too many Rin and Len in all sorts of versions. Vocaloid, so overdone. Now I don't feel like doing Rin already. Kaiko~~~~ Nami~~~~ XD

OH OH!! Something damn embarrassing happened today. Before I knew what was going on, Sasaki carried me princess style. I screamed, and everyone around us turned to look. Haru was like, "Pass! Pass! Pass her to me!" And they really passed me around la!!! So embarrassing. >///< I blushed like nobody's business after that. Man, give me a warning can? Internal chat log then start to carry me, I will scream one. [kicks sasaki into the sea]

There's a lot more stuffs, but if I were to write everything tonight, it'll be a super duper long post. And, the stuffs that I mentioned are all not in chronological order. Just writing what I think of at the moment. Getting too sleepy already.

Old photos are old. But that ain't very long ago either. It was taken in March 2008. Or was it other months? Not too sure but I remember that I sneaked out by lying to my mom. Or was it my dad? I forgot. (>_<) But yeah, I know I lied to go to the shoot that day. Yesh, I am a bad girl.

Streetfest~~ Looking forward to it tomorrow. Wanna meet so many many people that I haven't seen in such a long while. I really really miss them a lot. I miss the fun and laughter that I get when I'm with sgcafe peeps. They never fail to entertain me and make my day. XD

Despite all the nice people out there, there are some that I'll be avoiding. Especially hentai jijis. The same goes out to all ladies at the event tomorrow. MUST TAKE CARE AND NOT EXPOSE YOURSELF PLEASE!

For some unknown reasons, I feel that there'll be media there tomorrow. Snapping, interviewing etc. I just hope nothing happens to give them a reason to put down cosplay again. It's already so not accepted by the public. If we can't give them a good impression, at least protect our current reputation. We won't want them to completely ban cosplay or something similar right? [Although I know we'll have our own ways to cosplay. (^_^)]

I've not been feeling too well since evening today. Must be because I got partially drenched in the rain when I was returning to my workplace after lunching at home. There's no use in carrying an umbrella when I still got wet in the end. And my workplace is air-conditioned. So freaking cold can! I'll listen to those who told me to rest well and drink more water. Oh, and eat before cosplaying tomorrow. (^_^) Don't wanna die by the end of the day. XD

Did a mask just now and the effects are pretty good. But that mask ain't sold in SG I think. Got it from Malaysia and never see in SG before other than those sold at Bugis Street's second floor. Even those are of a different brand.

As usual, I'm off early from work on Wednesdays and I headed straight to Causeway Point because I needed to get some materials for props, aka an eyepatch. Anyway, I ended up shopping and spent quite a lot. [guilty] I still have to save for other stuffs leh....

Anyway, here is my loot. ^_^

A pair of simple white flats

Cosmetics spree? 3 eyeliners [pencil type] and 1 foundation refill. One black, one floral white and one frosty silver. Had intended to get only black since mine was almost finished [by practices and trials rather than actual use]. In the end I gotten the other two because it look so nice! And I can use them for female characters.

The floral white one. Non-retractable.

The frosty silver one. Got chipped off cause I was too rough in opening the packaging and the cap came off with the wrapper. Ended up chipped lor. Tried sharpening it with a sharpener but forgot that it was the creamy type. How do I sharpen it?

Damn pissed with blogger for being so problematic when it comes to uploading pics. Argh!

I can never get tired of watching pvs of my fave jrock artistes. Alice Nine's made me feel so emotional; SuG's made me so hyper and optimistic; the Gazette's brought me to another dimension etc. There are so many!! Rewatching never fail to lighten my mood. =)

Rearranging songs on my new phone. Deleted all the old ones and placed in new songs. I just realised it's all japanese when I can't even speak nor read nor write nor understand a lot of it. But they are my love~~ ^_^ Speaking of which, I think I've lost touch with mandopop already. Haven't really listen to much chinese songs over the last two years. Hmm.. Maybe I should try listening to them again.

Great, vocaloid fever is taking over me now. But I'm searching. Searching for the versions that very few or none has done in SG. I don't like to follow the crowd, even when in cosplay. That's why all my characters or versions are so unknown to many. With the exception of Rumia from Touhou. But even that got mistaken by an avid fan for Flandre Scarlet. WTH~

Luka/Rin/Len/Kaiko is on my tentative list for next year. No idea which one to do first. If I do Kaiko, I may have Crimmy as my Kaito. ^_^ Hoping to get more people to do with me for a shoot. Anyway, it'll be default versions but twins-like. Eg MikuXMikuo, LenXRin, LukaXLuki, MeikoXMeito, KaitoXKaiko etc. Too many to list already. Oh! And maybe Utaune Nami. XD

Saitou Hajime from Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan

Yes, he is officially on my desktop now as of this afternoon. I was doing research on Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan and came across this picture. ^^ Wanted to look for the picture of both Chizuru and Hijikata being bloody all over and kissing, but somehow it just didn't appear. Should have saved it the other day I saw it. >_< Haix.

I think out of all my free days, today is the most fruitful of all. I did research on both Macross Frontier and Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan. Found loads of pictures as references for MF and it took me a while to save some pictures from curecos. Some of the pictures were so big that I had to save top half and bottom half, crop and then put them together like it has always been one picture. As for Hakuouki, why is it always Toshizou or Souji with Chizuru? Don't the other guys deserve some love? And hey, yaoi pairing would also be nice. ^^ But I guess that would go under fan-service for the series.

Oh, and Haru, Azuku and Isa agreed too!! XD

Peacemaker Kurogane. Another tentative plan in my list.

I'm a goner in real life I think. Or maybe, I'll have to take the initiative to call people out. However, looking at my schedule for the next two months, I don't think my mom and dad would allow me to go out anymore. I'm going out on alternate weekends already, and for reasons that they can't know. Ok, maybe only my mom knows despite my lies. But she closed one eye to that. If my dad knows.... There's only one ending. ..............Die..............

Shall rewatch Kurogane, read the manga, catch up on Junjou Romantica from where I left off last time and do more research. Must go on materials hunting trip for cloth, usable and modify-able accessories, copic makers [maybe not], paint, nude lipgloss/lipstick [for temp use before my kissme stuff arrives], lighter shade or foundation [running low on supply] and make-up brushes.

O_O So many things to buy, lucky my pay is coming in and won't be spending much of it to other reasons. Cosplay, is indeed an expensive hobby. Not that I only realised it now.

What a cute couple~~~ I've seen a lot of pictures of Okita/Hijikata with Chizuru. But what about the rest of the guys? Don't they deserve some love as well? Let's hope some miracle happens. [hints hints]

Anyway, I finally have some quiet time available to blog. Apparently, this only happens on nights when I need not wake up early the next day for school or work and everyone's asleep [excluding my bro who sleeps at an early hour of almost dawn. lol!]. so that means no one can disturb me while I blog and escape from my dad's habit of peeping at my laptop screen every so often. He just don't trust me when I'm using the laptop. >_< Haix.

Man, I think I'm going addicted/crazy.

At first it was only one photoshoot and two events for 2010. Meaning that I'll be cosing only one character as according to my plan of one/two projects a year. Now, I have eight photoshoots and three events to attend for 2010. Best thing is, there are five different series in total and one subculture shoot. 2 photoshoots are down, 6 more to go. 1 event down, 2 more to go. 5 characters in total. Am I too addicted or crazy already?

Maybe I'll just reuse all these costumes for events next year. Save money and space. Haha!

Back to normal life, I'm feeling much better than before. True, I was rejected by all 3 universities, but that's not gonna stop me from studying. I will and had appealed already. Now, all that I can do is to play the waiting game. So please stop asking when I'll go back to my studies. I really have no idea and it's gonna make me feel worse everytime someone asks about it.

Chiyu from SuG

SuG is coming to Singapore! But it's not a solo concert or performance. It's a mixed concert with various Japanese and Korean artistes at Sentosa's Resort World. But still, THEY'RE COMING!!

I'm still waiting for the list of artistes who are coming to be released before I decide if I want to head down for the concert. Not willing to pay 118 bucks just to see SuG perform only 2 or 3 songs and the rest of the concert listening half-heartedly. And there are indeed many what ifs like what xyamix said. Maybe a GACKT concert in SG or Miyavi is coming? Too many comments, but unverified.

Maybe Gackt's fans would have heard about this already. GACKT is ranked the second prettiest man in Japan in a recent poll. In first place is Fukuyama Masaharu. Kamenashi Kazuya and Yamashita Tomohisa is in the top 10 as well. XD

Why isn't GACKT-sama in the first place? T_T But well, I admit that Fukuyama Masaharu has his charm since his appearance in Ryomaden. The poster reminds me of Kame-chan though. Haha!

Back to everyday life. My hands are getting worse. Peeling skin now. Too damn dry no matter how much moisturizer I use everyday. And it's getting rough. That's the worst and last thing that I ever wanted. Shall not be operator in the future unless I have no choice. =(

More cosplans now. More confirmed and more tentative ones. Haha! Looks like my original plans have to be postponed again. XD

The cactuar!!

That cactuar belongs to my conductor, Mr Rasull. He gotten it from a shop in Japan, a shop which I heard took him one hour to search for. Haha!! He even had to position the cactuar in this manner just before I took the picture. And my juniors were staring cause this happened in the bandroom. XD

Anyway, I'm kinda annoyed rather than moody these two days. I waited freaking 2 whole days for a sms reply, with 3 smses of the same nature and content sent out by me. None got replied until I sent a freaking last sms with a warning tone last night. That makes it 4 smses and only 1 reply. After that, my question never got replied again.

Damn you. I know you're busy with school and all. But it's not like it'll kill you if you just take 5 minutes to reply my two questions. Plus, I bet you replied others in between but just ignored mine. It has happened before and I'm sure it's happening again despite being told off by me last time. Being a close friend doesn't mean that you sms me to ask stuff and I have to reply you, while I sms-ed about stuffs and you don't. It just doesn't work that way.

And it's not like I have the whole day to keep sms-ing you. I'm busy too. So you're not the only busy and stressed one.

The matter is actually concerning the birthday of a girl from our clique that has formed since secondary school days. It's coming and we were thinking of early celebration rather than late. Then this kind of shit happens.

I'm annoyed and irritated. Seriously. This shit happens time and time again. Even if I told her off once or twice before and she promises. But it never got fulfilled.

I guess I'm just too lenient with everyone. And in the end, it's hurting me cause I realised recently that whenever I need someone to confide in, I can find no one. There's just no one I can talk to. But at least, the birthday girl noticed and sent me a heartwarming sms. =) That really makes my day.

But yeah, I'm still annoyed.

She's so pretty! And her daughter is so damn cute!! Feels like pinching her cheeks but I think I'll get killed by whoever is there for doing so. XD

Anyway, I'm feeling so damn anxious. It's worse than going to perform on stage alone or doing something that I've never done before. My fate lies in the hands of others right now and I don't like this. At all.

Feel like shutting myself totally off from the world right now. Listening to jrock at this point in time does nothing to help soothe my moods like usual.

Really really thanks a lot for pulling me into this PNC team. I wouldn't have the courage to try out such an idea, even if it's cosplaying of jrockers for events. I had totally zero confidence but you were the one who encouraged me and true enough, after some shots, I started to have more confidence in myself and my attire. You were the one who made it possible to have such a shoot and you were the one who made me feel like I could do this a second time. Seriously, thank you so much for everything. From recruiting to helping to encouraging to lending scarf to styling of hair. I think I almost used up 1/3 of your hairspray. (>_<) Without you, everything would have just been a dream, a goal that I would not be able to reach. [huggles]

Despite the overwhelming heat in the afternoon sun, the PNC [Project Neo Council] shoot was damn awesome and enjoyable. Really really had to thank Kaeri for pulling me into this team. And to the rest of the models for helping with my super duper failed hair. Thanks!!!

We're supposed to meet at 9am at cityhall, ended with me and Kaeri being late by about 10mins or so. We thought at least someone would have reached, but no, no one arrived yet!! So we waited and waited. Finally Dero came at about 9.30am and slowly the rest arrived. Haru just woke up at 9.30am. -_-''' However, despite my early arrival, I was the last to finish preparations. Because of my failed hair.

At first it was Kaeri and Ray helping me with the hair. Then Dero came over. Then Viscos. Then Haru. I have 6 hairstylists! Awesome right? XD But I feel damn embarrassed and ashamed because of my failed hair and failed styling skills. Ended up everyone was waiting for me. Sorry people. T_T

The shoot started around 11.30am. Yes, the hot afternoon sun. But the lighting was damn nice outdoors. Er, in my opinion la. No idea how the photogs think about this. It's still better than a rainy day or a cloudy one.

It was a pretty short shoot. Despite so, we got a lot of stares from people as we were walking from Esplanade to the bridge and tunnel area and walking to Clarke Quay. A lady working at a restaurant went, "Cantik!!" Haha!!

We ended around 2.30pm. Changed out, and some of us headed for lunch. Kaeri, Dero and Viscos went home. Ray and I couldn't eat a full meal like the rest because of the heat. So we had ice kachang instead. Cooling and easier to swallow. I wonder how the rest can eat a full meal with soup and all. Guess the I'm just one of the minority for not being able to eat after cosplay or a shoot.

Went to Haru House for Ice Princess's birthday party and met quite a number of people. Mainly to find Sasaki for her Macross Frontier DVD. XD The place was damn packed! Saw a lot of people there that I know.

In the end, I went with them for dinner. And I only drank iced milo, still couldn't eat anything at all. Eat and chatted till 7+pm then went to Kinokuniya to take a look at the Otacool 2. It was $35.80 for that small book. And the pictures on the cover page is too damn photoshopped. So we dropped the idea of buying and went to look at manga instead. Only Fuzzy bought stuff. The rest just went home without buying anything.

At night, I realised I didn't had a proper meal for the whole day. Hot milo in the morning at 7+am, ice cream at about 1.45pm, ice kachang at 3pm, iced milo at 6+pm and scrambled eggs at 10pm.

I seriously wondered how I survived through the long day. With aching feet and all.

Arts Fusion 2010

All the performers~~

Went for Arts Fusion, a bi-annual concert in YJC. First time watching it as part of the audience, it felt good and weird at the same time. Same exact sentiments as Darren. Haha

On the overall, it was a excellent concert. However, one change this year would be all performing arts coming together for just one concert and the profits had to be split. It used to be one performing art group per weekend and we can choose to watch or not to. Of course, we pay less to watch more exciting stuffs this year. Good and bad at the same time.

Main highlight for me, the band played "Eyes on me" with the chorale and "Waltz of the Moon" with dance! Damn my camera battery for dying on me halfway while I was recording. T_T The song was lovely and the dancers are awesome. Not the exact same dance but it resembles the clip a little. Still awesome. It'll be even better if the stage was bigger. XD

Not gonna go into the little details. That'll be a super duper long post then.

Sorrow's VK team on cosfest '09 day 1

I'm a frequent visitor plus user of the the blog set up by Krizalid - japanvisualkei. It's where I get my latest info update on existing bands and new bands alike. XD

But recently, I couldn't access that site and blogger told me that it was not found. So I did a little research and realised that it was taken down already. However, just as I thought that I'll lose a site which helps me in jrock updates, I found out that Krizalid actually has another website set up - japanrockers. XDD So so happy!

And, I managed to find the pvs that I always wanted to find. In high quality too! No more youtube vids to download. (^_^)v

Sexy bassist Chiyu from SuG

My body has been emitting a lot more heat than usual for the past two days. Not a good sign. It means that I'm gonna fall sick soon. =(

I was directly in front of the aircon at work yesterday, without my jacket, so that may explain something. However, today I wore a jacket and my work uniform [which is like damn thin since it's worn over my own clothes], sat in front of the aircon again since my work has to be done on that table. And again, my body sorta overheated itself.

Even now, when there's not a single drop of rain today and me at home without any fans on, I'm feeling cold and I can feel the heat emitting out.

Damn. Hope I don't fall sick. I have upcoming shoots and outings. Need to be in tip-top condition for them.

Vocaloid - Setsugetsuka

The song is really really nice. And, the art is awesome! Kudos to the one who drew this. XD

Seriously, I think I'm having Vocaloid fever.

I've listened to quite a number of songs from Vocaloid, and the voices really captivates me even though it's just a singing synthesis program. I'm amazed at all the artworks. But never once did I think that I'll start thinking about whether to cosplay any particular characters. Until the chance came to me. ^^

In February, I asked a friend, my "daddy" aka non chalant, if she wants to do Kaito again and if she does, can she be my Kaito? I said I'm interested in trying Miku Hatsune. However, she actually asked me to be Kagamine Len instead. Totally caught me off-guard.

Having never tried out any guy characters before, let alone a guy like Len who is so sexy and cute, I'm hesitating. I don't have the confidence to cosplay a guy with my facial features and most importantly, my height of 1.53m. But I will try. Just like how I tried out cosplay. It wasn't till recently that I muster up enough courage to make this decision. I hope "daddy" will accept such a chibi Len.

Talking about confidence, I'm having absolutely none for a upcoming shoot. If it's possible, it should be in the negative range already. My costume is so damn plain and my hair is perhaps a disaster. T_T

The costume and accessories is somehow decided together by me and TsuTsu. Not 100% effort by me.

That hair of mine is so damn feminine. Perhaps the fringe can style into M-fringe because it reaches just below my eyes. But the back portion is too long for a guy's look and the damn hairdresser refuses to cut more layers for me because I do tie up my hair. Whatever now. I'll look for styles similar to my hairstyle now. Below are some pictures.

I can make do with this fringe style. Can convert from Tora's fringe because it's just parting difference.

Guilty series

I have never ever thought that I would post anything about the guilty mangas that I've read before anywhere. However, the post by Thelindra on facebook about Haou Airen prompted me to do so. So yeah, here's the post.

That's 黑龙/Hakuron from 霸王爱人/Haou Airen. He's my sexy man. I just simply love his "king" attitude, his coolness and the way he love Kurumi. However, he died. T_T I remembered that I cried when I read that chapter. It was a pity that Mayu-tan just had to make him die in the manga. WHY OH WHY??

Anyway, this is a guilty series with a good plot despite all the *coughsexcoughscenescough*. A pretty good recommendation for those who love guilty manga. Actually, Mayu-tan's works are pretty awesome in general, except that most, if not all, are in the guilty genre.

A random thought just popped into my mind. Maybe a cosplay of this series? XD But I doubt that anyone would want to cosplay such a series unless it's a private shoot or something. Plus, the costumes are pretty much biz suits and casual wear. Not many, except those who read it, would be able to identify the characters at an event.

Seriously, is blogger having probs or just me? Everything is up in chunks again!

Alright, I have no work tomorrow cause it's Good Friday. So I'm gonna go rebond my hair, provided that the shop is not packed. Sochii~~ You promised to help me cut my hair. ^_^ Before 1st May k? Love ya for offering. [huggles]

I've been spending time at work thinking about stuffs. Nope, I'm not slacking, just work and think at the same time. So far, there are changes made to my plans this year. Cosplay plans, events, birthdays, outings and whatnots. This is because I realised that my schedule is like planned for months ahead and if I go out too many times, Mom won't like it. She's kinda afraid of me turning bad and getting traumas from accidents. Well, being a girl has its plus and bad points. I'm happy that my mom worries for me, that's all. =)

Anyway, I've added Ranka Lee from Macross Frontier into my plans for this year. Sasaki asked me to be her Ranka and I agreed. ^_^ Now to source for wigs and shoes and costume. Perhaps I could get it along with my Chrome costume.

Whee~ I had a Tenjo Tenge shoot with Isarandel today. It was damn fun! The weather's lovely, the photographers cool and awesome, the helper is nice, the damn random jokes and many other lovely things happened. ^_^v

At first, Sochii was supposed to help me with makeup, but she's sick so I asked if Isa could help instead with the eyeliner and fake eyelashes. She agreed on this last minute request. Then Suki.Luna came along, she's the photographer actually. And she helped me touched up! This may be our first meeting but she's damn nice to help me touch up. Lovely person. XD

There were other photogs also, Sasaki and Krisgage. Xiaohau was helping to look after our barang barang. XD Thanks all! Oh, not forgetting the camwhores!

Box of my new phone.

I went out in the afternoon with my brother to get my new phone. It's a LG Lollipop! I've gotten the aqua blue one instead of titanium grey like I had originally intended to. But.. but, aqua blue is just so nice! ^^ Gotten it at a mobile phone shop in Far East Plaza.

My brother wanted to get a LG Crystal at the same shop, but it was out of stock. The same was also said at another shop in the same building. So we went to Wisma to see if there's a LG shop. However, there wasn't any. And we actually walked like a super big round just to get to Wisma from Far East. -_-''' I've just forgotten how to get to Wisma Atria.

In the end, we went to Sim Lim Square to check out the shops. Some shops had it out of stock. Others placed it at a crazily high price of $600, without GST somemore. Oh, we went to ION's Singtel mobile shop as well and the price was $789 without contract. WTH?! But yeah, we found it at Sim Lim for $400 without GST. However, the salesperson told us somethings and my brother just decided to get LG Viewty instead. The price was just slightly higher, but with better camera functions and it's full touch screen.

The thing is, there is something call "ribbon" in slide phones and if it spoils, you can just say sayonara to the LCD screen. It cannot be easily repaired if I'm not wrong. My brother's LG Black Secret actually died like that, no more LCD screen but still functionable. But what's a phone without the screen? So yeah, he decided to change his choice of phone on the spot.

My new chio silver headphones. XD

We went back to Woodlands and gotten my new chio headphones. Audio Technica headphone in silver, a limited colour edition. It was only left with the last few. So I was happy to get it. So chio and nice and everything! All in all, I love my new phone and my new headphones! XD

I miss my Alice Nine boys.

Man, it's always like this. There is always something to prevent me from going to nice events and such.

AFA 09 doesn't count because I was having my A levels'. The rest are like the conventions at Suntec, such as TGX and GCA, to just name a few. It's either my mom says no because I had already head out on the previous weekend. Or, I had work or school on that day. There could also be some other random valid reasons.

It has been like this ever since I started to mix around in the community. I had missed out on a lot of fun. More importantly, I missed out on socialising with a wide variety of people.

Being in this community has caused me to be more out-going than before as I can now talk to a total stranger without fear. Before mixing in Sgcafe, I had fears of talking to others. Even if I'm in school, most of the time it's others who came up to me first. Only on occassions like having new juniors, a newly-formed committee that includes me or etc, then will I talk to others on initiative.

Bad huh? I know, but it is different from stagefright. I sorta cured that by joining band in secondary school. I had totally no idea on how to solve this anti-talking thing. But yeah, I'm super talkative once you get to know me. ^_^ So I have no idea what is the damn freaking problem.

Now, it has gotten from bad to worse. I don't even talk unless necessary or when others asked questions when I'm at work. You can say I'm being anti-social altogether. However, there is a reason. They are China peeps and I just can't communicate with them properly. But, that is not a main cause for concern right? I can always ask them to repeat their sentences.

Argh! I have no idea what's the freaking problem now. I sense that I won't be able to talk properly soon enough. Lack of practice of talking. Haha! I bet I'm the first to become like this.

Maybe I should just talk to myself more. ^_^

I'm so in love with my new satin gloves! Damn cool, sleek and awesome! ^_^

I went out with Meiji, Viscos, Rayray, Dero and Sui to Far East Plaza today. Went to get some accessories and supposedly part of my costume. In the end, I got a bead necklace and a pair of lovely satin gloves. The rest didn't get anything at all, took a look at stuffs that they may need only. They were there mainly because it's like a group outing to get to know others who are involved with PNC [Project Neo Council].

I'm so touched to be accompanied by them, though it was kind of awkward to have people I just met shop around with me. >_< Even though it was the first meeting of the group, I still thank them for helping me with the selection, especially Viscos, Meiji and Rayray. They're awesome in selecting stuffs! I wouldn't have gotten the lovely pair of gloves without Viscos and Rayray's help.

Thanks a lot guys! Love ya all and I hope the shoot will turn out awesome. Eh, not hope, it'll be awesome! XD

The weather in Singapore and Malaysia are like extremes! It's so freaking hot in Penang, but super duper cold and rainy in Singapore. What the hell? I bet I'm gonna fall sick due to the weather soon.

So I have a new colleague at my workplace. She's an Indian, with the name Sumati [sp?]. Well, it's actually nothing much, just being new that's all. But, it gave us all something to laugh at for a moment this morning. In Malay, "sumati" means "everyone dies". "mati" is everyone, while adding a "su" in front becomes "everyone dies". Haha! So now everyone else calls her Su instead of her full name. Saves us all from another round of laughter. Even she herself is laughing because she didn't know before she came. ^^

By the way, I'm booked from Friday to Sunday. XD So no more appointments please. My schedule's been reserved. XD

Gosh, the weather here in Malaysia is really hot. Luckily, it has been raining in the middle of the night for the last two days, making the nights cooler. For the first time, it rained hard today, even if it only lasted for about 10mins or so. It's still better than nothing. XD

It was my grandma's birthday yesterday. The whole bunch of us booked 2 tables at a restaurant to celebrate. Actually, the restaurant is pretty famous for its mooncakes in Singapore. The dishes were pretty ok. I love the fish maw dish the best. ^^

One more thing, we sang the birthday song in Chinese, English and Cantonese. Despite having only 15 people, we sang louder than the 6 tables full of people outside our room. They were celebrating some elderly's birthday like us, and the number of people is like lots! Plus, they didn't really sing cause the restaurant staff played the songs on a CD. We really sang! XD I feel so proud of my family. Haha!

Sudden thought that pop into my mind. I need to cut my hair soon! Should I rebond without cutting first and look for someone else to cut the style I always wanted? Or, should I just trust the boss from the hairdresser shop?

Ah!! In a dilemma right now. Help!

Bloody Weather

Bloody weather.

It's so damn hot in Malaysia right now. Not a single trace of dark clouds, not a single drop of rain. It's just the bloody hot sun shining down on the little island of Penang. It may be surrounded by sea like Singapore, but there's just no trace of any incoming rain. Even the weather report does not report anything but just the bloody hot weather.

Oh, because it hasn't rained in like about a month already, the reserviors are running low on water. Last I heard was the Kedah reservior having only 48% of the usual water amount left. The local government also said that if the citizens keep on using a lot of water, they're going to fine them. I supposed that they're gonna place a limit on the water amount that can be used per household or per capita.

Do you know something? The weather is just so damn hot till all the water that comes out from your taps and showers are warm without having to switch on the heater. Cool right? Auto hot water. ^^

Well, at least the weather is not so bad at night. I can still sleep without having to on the aircon for the whole night.

Anyway, I'll be in Malaysia till this coming Sunday. The reason is that my grandma's birthday is in the middle of the week, on a Wednesday. Plus, both me and my mom wanna catch up with our relatives, she with her sisters and me with my cousins.

Still in the middle of making my decision to select which course I'm gonna take in university. There's a few that I have interest in, even if it's business. Well, gotta know more before I can really make a decision.

Results are out

Okay, so I got my results yesterday afternoon.

Not extremely good, not extremely bad either. I'm like somewhere in between. Too average to the point that it's just awful to me. I got both good and bad shocks when I was shown my results slip.

Good shocks were because I fared better in Math, Econs and Bio than I actually expected. Bad ones were that I did not hit my target for GP and Chem. T_T

I started on Chem way back in June. Placed a lot on emphasis on my Chem rather than other H2 subjects, but it turned out to be the worst. I've let my teacher down, whom really helped me a lot during my 2 years in JC and even more so during the revision periods. I'm really sorry and guilty.

For GP, I seriously wanted an A so that I can get into my dream course in university. But it just avoids me every single time during major exams like O's and A's. Well, I could try for the course I want, but chances that I'll even be considered are damn slim. And, this is already my alternative route to my dream course. Because of the C5 I've gotten in O's, I couldn't even apply for the course in NP and SP. If I can't get in now, I really have no idea as to where I should go. Business is one option, sciences is another. I'm really really really confused.

Called Raistlin aka Aidou-senpai aka Frank last night, or rather early this morning at about 2am, because his nails are still wet and cannot type. Questioned him about both school life and social life in SMU. Gotten some answers and it'll be a place that I'll consider. Need to ask him again since he forgot to mention stuffs to me. Haha! Maybe over coffee like he suggested.

Gah, I should go read up on the courses now.

Damn, I am so freaking afraid of my results tomorrow. I know I won't be doing all that well, but I'm still afraid of what it'll be.

The pre-event symptoms? I woke up at freak hours in the morning at like 3am or 4 plus. Everyone is still asleep and I just have to wake up. Plus, I slept only at 12am everyday. It's pretty good that I can go back to sleep quickly. But having dreams of results ain't that fabulous either when I go back to sleep.

Die. How?

I'll be heading to band to collect my medal. Asked Yuding to find for me le. If not I think I'll head home.

I went back to YJC for the CVD event after going to work in the morning. Ren wanted to ask me out for a movie, but since I have already had something planned, I invited him to the event instead and with a warning that it'll be boring for him. He still came anyway, and stayed for half an hour.

I went to play in the haunted house with SQ and Winson after that. I laughed on my way out. SQ had serious night-blindness and Winson went to poke fun at the ghosts. Well, I did too. XD I think we're the only group that did not scream or anything, but make fun of those peeps in the haunted house. Haha!

I went shopping on my own after we all split our ways at Yishun mrt station. Well, only at Comics Connection and I spent one hour in there. Haha!

Bought the 10th volume of Vampire Knight at Comics Connection.

Found this KHR merchandise at a corner of Comics Connection. This is the only box of Rokudo Mukuro/Chrome Dokuro left. XD

The trident, a keychain too. This is the reason why the sticker for 18 and above was on the box. It's super pointed! I almost pricked my finger with it. But it's perfect for my prop making. XD

Murderous aura

I got this murderous aura around me ever since I was asked to test this particular company's boards around 3.3opm. My colleagues tried to joke with me to take my mind off the stupid tester that refused to work properly, but it didn't work. I still worked murderously during OT. I pity the keyboard that suffered from my typing though, it was innocent~

The stupid, idiotic test requires two computers to work and refused to co-operate. It took about an hour and a half to finally get it working. So I actually waited during that whole time and almost fell asleep.

The client actually had the guts to say that his men can learn within minutes and each board requires only a max of 5 minutes for testing. BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT, each board actually requires 15-30 minutes! It all depends on how fast it is able to disconnect the call from the first pc. In the 2 and a half hours of OT, I only tested 15 boards. How nice is that when I have another 85 more boards of the same model and 120 boards of another model that has to be shipped by tomorrow?

They sent in the stuffs late, and expect us to just focus solely on their boards and goods? Like HELLO!! We have other stuffs that needs to be shipped out too! I am already putting aside 2000++ pieces of lights that needs to be tested, insert another wire and packed by me, ALONE. We are all already busy enough, no need to scold the girls in the production line for not doing your work.

WE ALL DID OT FOR A WEEK FOR ALL YOUR STUFFS. SO SHUT UP AND GET WHATEVER IS AVAILABLE SINCE IT IS YOUR FAULT FOR SENDING IN THE STUFFS LATE IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Damn, I was feeling pissed and hungry at the same time while I did my work. So I was extremely grumpy. I atually felt much better when I had a bath and a late dinner when I went home.

Dang, this became a complaint post.

Chrome is love~

I've been researching on Chrome Dokuro [aka Kuromu Dokuro] a lot recently. The default Kokuyo uniform version, TYL business suit version, blackXred art version and even the time when she was Nagi and first met Mukuro Rokudo, aka the white dress version. I feel like doing them all.

The reason? I really like this character a lot. It's the first time that I have the urge to cosplay a particular character ever since I started cosplaying. I've always done the characters who are less loved, less popular and slightly more unknown to the public.

However, a problem surfaced while I researched, there's too many variations in a version! [headaches] Now, I got to ask people who have done Chrome-chan before. Or should I just go ahead with what I have? [major headaches]

Anyway, I've been bored. Every weekend that I have no work, I stayed home. And it's making me so bored that my computer ain't the solution anymore. T_T I feel like going out. I feel like having a gathering with my girlfriends and also going shopping.

Anyone wants to go shopping with me next week or something? There are stuffs that I need to get, both for my needs and also cosplay.

I feel sick

I feel like I'm going to be sick soon. The signs and symptoms are headaches, feeling of coldness and feeling sleepy.

And nope, I'm getting enough sleep. It must be due to the weather recently. I head home for lunch in the afternoon before going back to work and the weather is damn humid. I'll sweat even if there's wind and it's like only a ten minute distance between home and workplace. Luckily, or unluckily, my workplace's aircon is on full blast, no control at all. Imagine sweat and aircon, yeah, I'll definitely get sick sooner or later.

GACC

My friends on another forum has been advertising about the Melaka cosplay event GACC to me. It occurs in March, but I think the date has not yet been finalised, neither is the place.

I want to attend this event. But seeing the place it's gonna be held, it's a fat chance for me. Mom and Dad doesn't allow me to go JB alone. Well, I gotta agree with them that it is a dangerous place, even if you are in a group.

Anyone wants to go? Maybe I can tag along if there's others who are going. ^^

Don't think I'll be cosplaying if I do go, most probably as an amateur photographer with my digital camera. I cannot go out in full gear due to reasons and so it's gonna be a hassle for me to change there. So most probably no cosplay for it.

Despite me wanting to attend GACC, the event in Malaysia that I really really want to attend since 2 years ago is Comic Fiesta in Kuala Lumpur. The location is too far for me though. Even if I happen to be in M'sia during the event period [which is always the case], Mom just won't allow me to attend alone. It's a long trip from Penang, where I am at then, to KL.

All in all, as long as it's a event in M'sia, it's highly likely that I cannot attend. T_T

Freaking HTML

I freaking spent my whole afternoon and evening on deciphering and editing the html codes for just one blogskin, aka the current skin I'm using.

To say the truth, I haven't touch html codes in like a year or two and I'm getting rusty. Looks like it's high time that I should go learn on how to create my own blogskin instead of relying on those made by others. It's a pain to go through hundreds or thousands of skins to find the one I like.

Ren showed me this picture on msn and so I posted it here. And this became another hairstyle that I'm considering as well. Am loving the fringe too~ =) Actually, the fringe of this girl and Yomi looks about the same. Just that the back portion of the hair is different, one with many layers and one with little layers.

So, I need your opinions again. Yomi's or this girl's? Or other hairstyles?

I wonder if MSN is really going wacky nowadays. I'm seriously wondering.

I know I left my MSN address on forums such as Sgcafe, JBtalks and maybe even Facebook. Call me stupid or whatsoever, but I just find it a hassle to keep giving out my MSN address whenever someone wants to add me. I'm lazy~ So I just left it there for whoever wants to chat with me on MSN.

Then recently, I've been receiving lots of adds from unknowns. It's always some english names, followed by numbers.

For examples, willamfederick6735[at]hotmail[dot]com or lucymaryann874[at]hotmail[dot]com.

These aren't people behind their screens having nothing to do but random adding. These are just MSN addresses that keeps repeating their same message every few sentences. It's always asking you to visit some porn site or use your webcam for whatever purposes that they may have. I believe that they are called bots? I'm not sure.

So people, block all these addresses, delete them or just ignore the freaking invitations. Unless you want to invite viruses or you are a despo needing some desperate relieve, then I have nothing to say.

If there are really people behind the screen for that email, then I believe they will add you again with a notification somewhere, somewhat and not disappear after you delete that invitation.

Hair

I wanna cut my hair after CNY. Maybe I'll rebond too because my curly hair is worse when it's short. >_<

This is Yomi, the vocalist of Nightmare.

I'm thinking of getting the exact same haircut as Yomi. I like the fringe part a lot. XD And there are a lot of layers on the back portion of the hair, making it easy to style, not that I know how to style my hair. >_<

But the question is, should I get this hairstyle? I'm still choosing and I need opinions. Help me people, pretty please. [puppy eyes]
