Five days before Christmas was cousin brother Kah Chan's birthday. We all went to Xuan Xin [炫升, but pronounce in Hokkien dialect], a steamboat restaurant. It was all buffet style. We can even bring the ingredients for the steamboat to a open counter where there were two cooks to help stir-fry the food. There were free flow of drinks and desserts as well. But the restaurant cut down on the variety of desserts this year. I remember there used to be small cakes in the same fridge as the ice cream. Anyway, the name of the restaurant sounds like Swensons. XD
On Christmas eve, the same cousin brother told me that he got work. But on the morning of Christmas itself, when we were having dim sum as breakfast, he told us that he got no work and would be bringing us out. None of the rest of us knew that beforehand and wore only slippers to the coffeeshop! We went out straight then in slippers, to Gurney Plaza. Watching Avatar in slippers make us all shiver in coldness. Then we went shopping. Nothing caught my fancy and I didn't buy anything at all.
On boxing day, we went to have seafood dinner! XD It was the exact same place as recommended on the 阿贤 food series. Telok Kumbar Seafood Restaurant. Crayfish with nestum was extremely nice! Nestum is a wheat/oat-like thingy. I think nestum is the brand or something. A total of six dishes for six people, one for each on the average. Haha!
We wanted to go to Kek Lok Si last night, but there were no lights. So we went this morning instead after breakfast and after me and Bee Bee accompanied Carrie to the airport at 4am in the morning. XD The three of us only have three hours or less of sleep. Woke up at 3am and reached home at about 9am. Carrie and I went back to sleep after bathing while Bee Bee went out with our aunts to have another round of breakfast. ^^
Been spending today watching replays of Christmas specials. I think I should go check out my vegetables on facebook already.

I'm having some internet connection problems for these two days. No idea why and sometimes it works, sometimes it don't. My guess is that since I only use it during night time, it clashes with the dozen others in my area and it's blocked off. This reasoning sounds kinda illogical but I'm going with it.
Had a dream some days ago, or nightmare as some called it, but it didn't wake up me in cold sweat in the middle of the night. I dreamt of the killing scene in Umineko no Naku Koro ni. It's the exact same scene as the manga that I was reading just before I went to sleep. And this time round, I became the victim. Haha! Was kind of shock when I remembered this dream after I woke up that day, so now I'm not gonna read Umineko before I sleep. ^^

I don't really get it. Penang and Singapore are both islands surrounded by sea, with the other Malaysian states as its neighbours. However, the weather in both areas are really very different.
In Singapore, it's hot when the sun is shining and cooler when it isn't. But, Penang is way hotter, even when the sun isn't shining. The rain here doesn't help in cooling, but rather makes it hotter because it's not long enough or heavy enough. A storm happened just now but lasts for less than five minutes or so. Luckily, it's in the evening already, so it makes the temperature lower.
Seriously, it's way too hot over here. Did a hole occur in the ozone over Malaysia or something?

I find it pretty awesome that I've having internet connection over here at my grandma's place in Malaysia. Had some trouble connecting last night but it's ok now. XD I thought for sure that there's no internet over here because my grandma lives alone. Furthermore, my uncle only comes in the evening after his work, just so that my grandma had some company. My aunt and cousins come over almost every other day ever since they moved out so that it'll not be "sudden silence" over here. Well, my family except my dad is here now, so she's pretty happy. XD
Seriously, I have nothing to do over here and the TV programs keeps repeating on a cyclic basis. Better to continue reading Umineko no Naku Koro ni. To find out who's Ange and Lambdelta. ^^

Yeah, I'm still awake at this crazy hour of the day. Or rather, I'm up super early in the morning. XD
Just finished Kuroshitsuji, or Black Butler or 黑执事, whichever you prefer. I just feel like commenting on the series after that last few episodes.
I feel that the plot is moving way too fast towards the end. I feel that Ciel Phantomhive has lost everything way too fast, in the blink of an eye just because his butler left him for only like what? Two days?
Sure, he was just a brat that can't accomplish anything by himself. But being the earl and the owner of Funtom, shouldn't he have some brains when handling matters on his own? An example was when he gave all his money to get someone to bring him to the harbour. In the end, he had to walk back on his own and realised that the harbour is actually so damn close in the town he was living in. He had the brains to accomplish so much for his company, but he can't handle simple stuff like public relations? Perhaps, I have over-rated Ciel's ability.
Well, despite the hasty ending, the series was quite nice on the overall. The fillers are nicer that those in Bleach. The fighting scenes are captivating and interesting. Furthermore, Sebastian Michaelis and Pluto are so damn cool and cute! XD Not only so, the Undertaker is actually a handsome shinigami. I never expected that. But really, Grell Sutcliff is indeed a bi, and a flirty one at that. ^^
I like the series on the overall, and I shall continue to follow it on the manga. ^^

Looks like animeseason is really down for today. I've been trying to log onto the website for the whole afternoon already, but it just won't load. Perhaps it'll be up and running tomorrow. =)
I have a feeling that I won't be able to cosplay on SOY'B. This is because, I've yet to start on the costume!! And since I can't sew, I'll have to order. But it'll take at least a month for the costume to reach me. If I only order after I come back from Malaysia, it'll be too late. If I order within these two days that I'm in Singapore, someone may have to collect it on my behalf once it reaches. I really don't want to bother anyone with this. Haix. I'm having a headache over this.
Junko, if I can't make it for SOY'B, we cosplay some other time together, ok? Or we can do it for cosfest since I have no plans for that yet. ^^

Yeah, sure I do have plans for the super duper long holidays that I'm currently having, but why am I feeling so lost as to what to do each day? It's like ever since the A levels' ended, I've got no goal in life or something.
Every morning I wake up, I'll think long and hard as to what I should be doing. In the end, I ended up doing housework. Washing the cups, wiping the tables, sweeping the floor, washing the clothes etc. After that, I'll be watching or rewatching animes and shows on my laptop. I have a feeling that I'm gonna finish at least one-eighth the amount of animes that animeseason.com has by the time I leave for Malaysia next week. I can finish one anime in one day or less, dependent on the number of episodes that each anime has.
The following is a list of animes that I've watched till date. Finished or till the latest episode. Ever since last Saturday, 5th Nov 2009.
07-Ghost
Bleach
Katekyou Hitman Reborn
Kin Iro no Chord: Secondo Passo [tv special]
Lemon Angel Project
Loveless
Ouran Koukou Host Club
By the way, it's not that I'm not looking for a job. But I'll be overseas from next week onwards till 6th January. It'll be kind of difficult to look for a job if I'm gonna be away for that long. So I decided to look for one after I return. Perhaps an administrative job, maybe even full time ones. ^^
Shall continue to watch my animes. Do recommend if any of you has any good ones to recommend. I don't mind any genre except for hentai. Guess the genres are pretty much covered in the list of animes I've watched listed above. ^^
